When the weather is nice, you can truly unwind in the garden with its sunbathing area and barbecue spot! Parking is, of course, free at the back of the property, next to our guesthouse. Come visit us and enjoy our low-mountain climate, the beautiful fields, and the forests. Go hiking, biking, and walking. ...or just let your mind wander. We’d be happy to provide you with a personalised quote. The Frankenwaldhof is located at an elevation of 630 metres in the Obersteben district—right next to the Bavarian State Spa of Bad Steben. After just a ten-minute walk, you’ll find yourself in the spa centre, surrounded by the spa park and thermal baths. Arrive and feel right at home! Our “Dachsbau” holiday apartment, with 48 square metres of living space, accommodates up to two people. The kitchenette is equipped with an electric stove featuring a ceramic cooktop and a wood-burning oven, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a microwave, a dishwasher, a coffee maker, a toaster, an egg cooker, an electric kettle, and an ample supply of dishes and cookware. The cosy and bright living room and dining area are combined. The entryway leads to a spacious, separate bedroom with a double bed. Both bathrooms are equipped with a shower, toilet, a lighted cosmetic mirror, and a hair dryer. The “Dachsbau unten” holiday rental is lovingly and modernly furnished with natural wood furniture. A complete set of linens—including bed linens, bath towels, and tea towels—is provided and will be changed upon request. Our holiday rental features two flat-screen TVs with cable, a stereo system, free Wi-Fi, and parking. The large terrace is for your exclusive use. Of course, you’re welcome to enjoy our beautiful garden with a lawn for sunbathing and a barbecue area. Check-in is available from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM; please plan to check out by 10:30 AM. Any exceptions require prior arrangement by phone! You’ll receive the key to your accommodation directly from us at Hof Bachwiesenstr. 68, from the Rank family. Pets allowed only upon request! Cots, travel cots, and high chairs are available upon request. You can pay in cash or with a debit card. A local tourist tax of 3.40 EUR per person per night is charged on site. For guests staying in any of our holiday apartments, we offer a free bread roll delivery service right to your door. You’re welcome to order a breakfast basket curated just for you, filled with regional foods. You’re also welcome to use the washing machine for a fee.
