Our cosy holiday home is located on a spacious lot that also houses our own home. Here, you can hear the gentle murmur of the small Wappach River or take in the view of the trees and mountains. You can simply enjoy the peace and quiet. With the guest card, most buses and trains in the Berchtesgadener Land region are free of charge. You can also travel to Salzburg for free on the BRB train or the Postbus.
Our beautiful holiday home, completely renovated in 2022, is entirely on one level. It measures 75 square metres, is cosy and comfortably furnished, and offers everything you need. The apartment has two separate bedrooms, each with a double bed, and is well-suited for four people. The spacious kitchen is fully equipped and opens directly into the cosy living room with a fireplace. There is a bathroom with a walk-in shower, a washing machine, and a dryer. The apartment features Wi-Fi and a smart TV. Various board games and books are also available. It is a non-smoking apartment. If you want to escape the daily grind and are looking for peace and relaxation, this is the right place for you!
Our house is located in Bayerisch Gmain, a small, quiet town that’s still conveniently situated. From here, you can embark on numerous hikes and bike rides of varying lengths and durations. Within a 5-minute walk, you’ll find the Bayerisch Gmain train station, a bus stop, a children’s playground, the hiking centre, and a supermarket. Nearby attractions, such as the Alpine town of Bad Reichenhall, Berchtesgaden, the Mozart city of Salzburg, Lake Chiemsee, and Lake Königssee, are all easily accessible from here.
We completely renovated and furnished the holiday home in 2022. Afterwards, we—a family with three children—lived there ourselves for a few months and got to experience just how wonderful it is!
