Property was a storage shed converted into a bedroom. Bathroom did not have walls going to the ceiling, ie NO privacy.. The bed was short and the mattress was thin and lumpy. Some type of incense or perfume odor was overwhelming in the small space. We departed as soon as we could.

I am very sorry that there were some inconveniences. The cottage was never a storage shed. It was built on the premises to be a living area/cottage. There is a sliding room divider that closes the bathroom from the rest of the cottage and a large non-see-through door on the shower. The bed which I told you upon arrival is an antique Murphy bed/Armoire and that the mattress is somewhat lumpy, but that I found to be very comfortable. I'm sorry that you did not find it to be so much. I since have adjusted the box springs to make it more comfortable which has been confirmed by a recent guest. Sorry about the fragrance, I have never had any complaints before, but it may have been because it was newly sprayed before your arrival.

Jeanne and I arrived and the host met us. She recommended a great place to eat, hear live music and we did dance a bit at Kelvins Piana Bar & Grill. We had a blast. The people there were so friendly, they made us feel like family. The next day we got to visit my old town Lafayette which was nice and not far. We then went to "Shucks" authentic cajun cuisine & world-famous oyster bar and saw my cousin Blake Luquette play country music. He was fantastic. Lots of fun and food as if it was like family. Our host helped us allot with breakfast, area location tour and nice hospitality. She even had wine and cajun cracker snacks when we got there and healthy snack the next day. The Abbeville Comfy Cottage Place was perfect for us 2 and our corgi. We all had fun and a very nice taste of Louisiana culture.
