Here you’ll find a holiday home located in a quiet residential area in the Lembruch district. The house is a solid log cabin that offers all the ecological and building-biological benefits. It is particularly beneficial for people with allergies, as it is constructed exclusively from natural building materials. The space is designed to accommodate 2 to 4 people.

A holiday in harmony with nature. You’ll have the opportunity to experience the peace and tranquility of our holiday home. The house is very easy to reach and is located about 300 metres from the lake.
The lake covers an area of 12.5 km² and is nestled between the Dammer and Stemweder Mountains. On the eastern side of Lake Dümmer lie the main holiday towns of Hüde and Lembruch. They captivate visitors with their maritime charm and have much to offer guests seeking relaxation. Along the kilometer-long dike promenade, the range of tourist activities leaves nothing to be desired. On the western shore is the smaller Olgahafen, which belongs to Dümmerlohausen.
Biking tours along the lake, windsurfing, stand-up paddleboarding, mountain biking, or hiking in the woods—there are many reasons to spend your holiday at Lake Dümmer. In the Stemweder and Dammer Mountains, there are numerous marked hiking trails waiting to be explored.
Lake Dümmer is the centrepiece of the Dümmer Nature Park and is surrounded by extensive lowland bogs and wet meadows. At the Dümmer Museum, visitors learn about nature conservation, ornithology, and the history of the cultural landscape in a variety of ways.
In addition, the nature park is an international bird sanctuary. Over 275 bird species call this area home.

Every year, the so-called “Dümmerbrand” takes place at Lake Dümmer. Here, one of the largest fireworks displays in northern Germany is set off from five floating pontoons in the lake. Colourful strings of lights, open-air live music on several stages, and illuminated boats at sunset—what more could you need to be enchanted by the atmosphere?
There’s plenty to do for the youngest visitors as well, with numerous hands-on activities. In the past, these have included face painting, balloon artists, a giant slide, treasure hunts, and much more—enough to make any child’s eyes light up. A number of flea market vendors also set up their stalls.
The event takes place on one of the last two weekends in August and rotates annually between Hüde and Lembruch on Lake Dümmer.

The nearest train station is in Diepholz, just under 12 minutes away by car. The Edeka Nah&Gut Macke is about 600 metres away. If you’re planning a big shopping trip, we recommend driving to Lemförde, 8 km away. There, right at the entrance to town, you’ll find an area with all the usual supermarkets.
Restaurants are located in the immediate vicinity and are easily accessible on foot.
