In the beautiful (H)erzgebirge

Book our lovingly furnished holiday rental in the beautiful mountain town of Wolkenstein.

You’ll find a fully equipped kitchen, a living room and bedroom (one room with a 2-meter-wide double bed and a sleeper sofa), and a modern bathroom with a walk-in shower. Bed linens and one set of towels are provided free of charge. Wi-Fi is available free of charge. You’re welcome to add dressing gowns to your reservation on-site for a small additional fee.

The holiday rental is located on the ground floor of the hosts’ farmhouse. Upon request, the hosts are always happy to provide tips and ideas on where and when you can make the most of your holiday in and around Wolkenstein.

From the holiday rental, you have direct access to numerous hiking trails and via ferrata routes, or you can set out on a groomed cross-country ski trail in winter.
The towns of Marienberg, Annaberg, Zschopau, and Chemnitz are easily accessible by bus, train, or car.

Make your holiday unforgettable by booking an evening in the hot tub or a Native American experience in our teepee (for an additional fee)—always with an unparalleled view of the Pöhlberg.

Since you’ll be staying on a small three-sided farmstead here, you’ll have the chance to watch freshly hatched chicks sunbathing or say hello to a little lamb in the meadow.
The chickens will be happy to provide your fresh breakfast egg.

The tourist tax in Wolkenstein is 1.61 euros per person per day. You’ll pay for the final cleaning on-site:

Es gibt Urlaube, die einfach schön sind und es gibt Urlaube, die einem noch lange im Herzen bleiben. Dies hier gehört definitiv zur zweiten Kategorie.Schon bei der Ankunft wurden wir als Familie, besonders unsere Tochter, unglaublich herzlich und liebevoll empfangen. Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an willkommen und wohlgefühlt. Die Gastgeber hatten immer ein offenes Ohr, gaben tolle Ausflugstipps und führten nette Gespräche, ließen uns aber genauso den Freiraum, wenn wir die Zeit einfach für uns genießen wollten.Die Ferienwohnung selbst ist mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Es fehlt wirklich an nichts, man merkt in jeder Ecke, dass sich Gedanken gemacht wurden, damit sich die Gäste rundum wohlfühlen. Alles ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen entspannten Urlaub braucht.Auch die Umgebung hat uns begeistert. Ob zu Fuß oder mit dem Auto, überall gab es wunderschöne Orte zu entdecken. Die Landschaft ist traumhaft und bietet unzählige Möglichkeiten.Das schönste Kompliment kam allerdings von unserer Tochter. Für sie war es „der schönste Urlaub überhaupt“. Mehr muss man eigentlich nicht sagen.Von Herzen danken wir der ganzen Familie für diese wundervolle Zeit. Ihr habt uns nicht einfach nur eine Ferienwohnung vermietet, sondern uns ein Urlaubserlebnis geschenkt, das weit über das Übliche hinausgeht. Wir sind mit vielen schönen Erinnerungen nach Hause gefahren und freuen uns schon jetzt darauf, eines Tages wiederzukommen.

In der Wohnung ist alles vorhanden, was man für einen schönen Urlaub braucht. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Verschneiter Kurzurlaub

Für unseren Kurzurlaub im schönen Erzgebirge kurz vor Weihnachten sind wir bei Familie Schaarschuch untergekommen. Es gab einen sehr netten Kontakt im Vorfeld und wir wurden herzliche empfangen. Die Wohnung ist sehr gemütlich eingereicht und man fühlt sich gleich wohl. Die Ausstattung war vollständig, es gibt ein kleines Lädchen vor der Wohnungstür wo man vergessene Dinge (Kaffee, Honig, Bier, Duschbad,...) noch für faires Geld kaufen kann. Ein Bäcker ist in 5 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit und es gibt nach unserem Empfinden für jedes kleine und große Problem eine Lösung:-). Vielen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft, wir kommen gerne wieder.

Kurzurlaub im Erzgebirge

Wir haben inseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Es stimmte einfach alles. Die Wohnung war geschmackvoll mit viel Liebe zum Detail ausgestattet und unsere Vermieter waren stets bemüht es uns gut gehen zu lassen. Wunderschön war der Garten mit Zuber und Tipi und den 2 Schafen unserer Gastgeber. Danke nochmal für die Gastfreundlichkeit. Wir würden uns freuen wiederkommen zu dürfen.
