The stately porch is framed by Ionic cypress columns, elegant balustrades, and a distinctive French ceramic tile roof.

Being here feels like stepping back in time and connecting with the generations of family who loved and cared for this place before me.

Built in 1912 by Hilborn Holmes and Evie Elizabeth Mixon Holmes with the finest millwork and materials, Brentwood is a magnificent architectural and historical mansion. In 1939, Julius H. Brent and Elizabeth Kennedy Brent visited the house, fell in love with it, and made it their cherished family home. Brentwood was later honored with placement on the National Register of Historic Places in March 1989.
