Casa Azul de Calig - Ruhiges Ferienhaus im Historischen Ortskern, Nähe Peniscola

This historic building dates back to 1893 and features a wealth of authentic details that reflect traditional Spanish life. The house was completely renovated in 2021, and we deliberately restored many authentic details with great care, preserving them as much as possible—hence the original “retro style” featuring some of the family’s antique furniture and accessories.

The narrow alley is a one-way street with very little traffic; only residents drive through here, and it’s generally very quiet. Our Spanish neighbors are all very friendly.

The rustic, brick-walled structure of the kitchen is unique, yet it offers all the amenities you need: a fridge-freezer, oven, ceramic cooktop, microwave, blender, hand blender, washing machine, toaster, various coffee-making options, teapot, etc. (no dishwasher)
The charming little shower room is completely new and tiled with original vintage tiles, and it has plenty of storage space. A hair dryer and a magnifying mirror (7x) are provided, as are shower and bath towels. (no beach towels)

Both bedrooms on the 1st floor feature cosy double beds (160 and 180 wide) and a closet each. Both rooms have a fan.
A small workspace is available on this floor.

On the second floor is the bright, spacious living room with a cosy sofa made of vegan nubuck leather—here you can listen to music (Bluetooth speaker) or watch satellite TV in several languages. A fan and reading lamp are also provided.
From here, you can access the beautiful rooftop terrace with sun loungers and a grill—where you can enjoy meals or relax as the day comes to a close.
Wi-Fi is available throughout the entire house!
