Place was very clean and thoughtfully stocked with the essentials. Note the fireplaces (including outdoors) are available only 10/15-4/15. Nice view. Wife and I enjoyed the games. As others mentioned, you'll need a 4WD. Lots of hiking opportunities near by.

The home was clean and the furnishings were comfortable. Amazing view!!
Came for a weekend getaway. We have stayed in quite a few cabins through out Georgia, Tennessee, and Carolinas. We fell in love with this cabin and hope to come back again. The privacy and peaceful atmosphere is exactly what we were looking for. The cabin is wonderfully decorated and equipped with everything you would need. And the view is amazing!

Lovely view
Although listed as an amenity, there was no cable/satellite access. Water pressure is not good. We enjoyed the outdoor fireplace and Mountain View.

We wanted to go to the mountains with our friends for a New Years weekend trip to relax, play games and ring in the new year. The cabin was perfect with 2 bedrooms that each had their own full bathrooms. The cabin sits atop a ridge with a great unobstructed view. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots and pans for preparing complete meals. We would rent it again in the future!

Would stay again!
Amazing view of the daily sunsets. Perfect environment to kick back and relax with family!
King bed was very comfortable and we appreciated the pack and play for our little one. The large gas grill and kitchen stocked with dishes was a plus.
The owner advised 4WD/AWD is needed and I certainly agree. The road to the cabin could certainly use some work as the loose rocks and pot holes caused a gash in our tire and we missed out on a day’s worth of activities. Make sure you have a spare tire/AAA in the event that this happens to you. Despite this hiccup, we would still revisit as this cabin was perfect for our little family.

Just disappointed
House just was not up to par for a vacation rental. Needs plenty of upgrades and just felt dirty. Roadway up to the house was also very rough and had a few spots that really are hazardous.
Already submitted pictures of uncleanliness within.
Never got a chance to really enjoy because no one with Vacasa would come to cabin to resolve issues

Child/toddler friendly cabin
Do you want your young ones to enjoy your vacation free of worry, hassle and experience cabin life. Your child/toddler need to stay here. Everywhere you go there is a gate at all exits outside. I never worried one bit what my toddler was doing because he couldn’t go anywhere. He’s 1.5 yrs. They had a playpen, toys, tv in his room, child friendly utensils. I will go back for sure. It was clean and we even got to see some bears in the yard. The basement had entertaining for us to use when our lil man went to bed, which we really enjoyed. I wish their was a hot tub or updated sink and shower and tubs but that was clean and was usable. Also the water pressure wasn’t as great as my hubby would like but no complaints. More of a wish it was sort of thing.

Note: the road is pretty challenging to get to the cabin and it’s 2.1 miles up the mountain from the main paved road and takes about 10 minutes to go up/down-definitely need four-wheel drive vehicle (which his stated in description). When we originally booked our reservation (about 8 months in advance for two weeks) the washer/dryer was listed as an amenity and then changed a month or so before check in to unavailable. We didn’t quite understand that the issue could not have been fixed by check in and ended up utilizing a laundry mat in Ellijay. We understand mountain living has it’s challenges and unfortunately…we happened to experience two separate days with extended water/electric outages (which impacted our family plans) and after the second incident (new pump or parts needing replacement with estimated repair being two-three days if available), were given an option of moving to another location, but opted to depart early rather than packing up and moving to another property. The property manager was very responsive during these issues and we did receive compensation for the inconvenience, but it did alter the dynamics/expectations for our Thanksgiving holiday. The cabin is spacious, has comfortable beds, downstairs family game room is nice and it has amazing views. It’s fairly close and in between Ellijay and Blue Ridge so convenient for shopping/dining.

Thank you so much for sharing your detailed experience with us. We truly appreciate your understanding of the challenges that come with mountain living, especially the road conditions and the need for a four-wheel drive vehicle, as noted in the listing description. We are sorry to hear about the inconvenience caused by the washer/dryer amenity being unavailable and the unexpected water and electric outages during your stay. It’s great to know that our local team was responsive and that you received compensation for the disruptions, though we completely understand how these issues impacted your Thanksgiving holiday plans. We’re glad you enjoyed the spaciousness of the home. Your feedback is invaluable, and we will continue working with our local teams to improve the guest experience. We hope to welcome you back soon.
