We had a lovely stay. It's a cute little place and we loved the creek and wildlife going through the property. Our dog LOVED the freedom to run around without a leash. We had everything we needed for nice weekend away from home.

Everything was as expected, and we had a great stay! Caroline was a wonderful host. She was very responsive, easy to communicate with, and incredibly accommodating with our pets, which we really appreciated. Overall, we had a very positive experience and would happily stay again.

We had a lovely stay in Caroline's Shouse :). It was fresh and clean on arrival, with all the amenities for a couple to relax and Enjoy Garfield Bay. Caroline was a pleasure to work with and very responsive and timely in answering any questions we had. A very quick lovely 5 minute walk gets you right down to the park and beach. An added bonus for those that boat, is the driveway would easily accommodate a truck and boat trailer! There is a lovely bench just below the Shouse to enjoy the creek and the quiet beauty of the forest. A great getaway for a romantic couple or the out door enthusiasist.

It was very clean. The mattress was too firm for me to properly rest. The creek was very pretty to walk to and I enjoyed the wildlife. It is a bit more of a walk to the marina than I anticipated. The store was open but the Captain's Table was not open any of the 3 nights we were there. We were thankful for the Starkink as there is no cell service in this area. Thank you Caroline.

The space was clean and uncluttered. The kitchen was very well equipped...the only thing we couldn't find was a baking sheet. Maybe we missed it, but could have used one. We enjoyed watching some wildlife and someone's adorable cat pass by the side door. The bathroom was impeccably clean. Shower water pressure was a little low, but wouldn't keep us from staying again if we had the opportunity. We were able to drive to the lake within a few minutes for paddleboarding. It is a great place for people who like some isolation while still being within 30 minutes of town activities. We also enjoy minimal interaction with hosts, and relative independence, this fit both. Would highly recommend!

The cabin was fine overall and in a good location for fishing, with several lakes nearby. My only concern is that it's advertised as accommodating four guests, but it doesn't seem set up for that many people. There is one bedroom and a pull-out couch. I let the owner know in advance that there would be three of us, but there were no sheets or blankets provided for the pull-out couch. Fortunately, the weather was warm enough that we were able to use blankets from our bed for our son.The listing also states that patio furniture and beach towels are provided, but there were only two of each. The kitchen island serves as the dining table and has only two tall chairs, so there wasn't enough seating for all three of us to eat together.Overall, the cabin itself was fine, but I think the listing would be more accurate if it were advertised as accommodating two guests rather than four. This
