Provence serenity

My family and I had an incredible vacation in Rasteau. Everything exceeded our expectations. Peaceful, beautiful and private setting and views. We all enjoyed the pool which was very refreshing in the heat. Mrs. and Mr. Rigaud were kind and helpful, and at your disposal if necessary.

The most wonderful place!

We absolutely loved staying in Genevieve and Alain's guest cottage. There was plenty of room for us and our adult son and his girlfriend, and the house had everything we needed. The kitchen was very well-equipped for our cooking needs, and the beds were comfortable. The shower was a good size and we had plenty of hot water. The pool was wonderful, and we also enjoyed the outdoor kitchen area. We all spent much of our time there, swimming, eating, and drinking. The location was perfect for us, quiet and surrounded by vineyards, but it was also close to shopping and sightseeing. The house is also a good place for cyclists to stay as it is convenient for cycling to Mont Ventoux. Our holiday was so relaxing, and the area is so beautiful, that we didn't want to leave. We are so grateful to Genevieve and Alain, and definitely plan to go back and stay with them again. Highly recommended!

Très bon accueil des propriétaires, un petit endroit tranquille au milieu des vignes, pas loin du mont Ventoux, Vaison-la-Romaine, Gigondas, Vacqueyras, sablet et Séguret.Une très belle piscine pour les enfants et on recommande le restaurant Coteaux et fourchettes qui se trouve à cinq minutes du gîte. Merci à Geneviève et Alain.

Que dire sur des hôtes aussi prévenants....à part merci pour tout!! De l'arrivée au départ Alain et Geneviève ont été parfait! Les instructions étaient claires et tout est superbement expliqué dans un carnet avec toutes les adresses utiles des alentours. Si vous aimez le charme et le calme de la campagne c'est chez eux qu'il faut réserver. Les prestations sont incroyables et la piscine avec son pool house un pur bonheur!! Situation idéale à juste distance (ni trop près ni trop loin) des villages des Côtes du Rhône, du Mont Ventoux et de Vaison-la-Romaine, au milieu des vignes à perte de vue. Accueil chaleureux. Geneviève et Alain aiment ce qu’ils font et cela se sent. Merci pour leur gentillesse. Discrets mais toujours disponibles pour un bon conseil (excursions, adresses de bonnes tables). La maison et les extérieurs sont tenus de manière impeccable. Le tout est très propre, bien entretenu et très bien équipé, mention spéciale pour le pool house (barbecue, frigo et vaisselle). Magnifique vue sur le vignoble depuis la piscine. Calme absolu.

Super séjour

Accueil très chaleureux des propriétaires Alain et Geneviève. Ils font tout pour vous rendre le séjour agréable en particulier les apéros autour de la piscine. Maison confortable et très bien équipée. Magnifique piscine avec vue dégagée, au milieu des vignes dans un calme absolu. Beaucoup de choses à faire dans la région en particulier le mont Ventoux pour les amateurs de vélo. Nous espérons pouvoir y retourner un jour prochain.

Mon séjour en octobre 2013.

Geneviève et Alain ont un sens de l'acceuil très aiguisé. L'apéritif de bienvenue au bord de la piscine est un moment fort du séjour. Comme je connais bien la région (nombreux séjours ces dernières années à Rasteau), les propriétaires me laissent une grande liberté que j'apprécie. Par contre, ils organisent volontiers une visite de cave de la région. Je recommande la cave de la Soumade André Romero que Geneviève et Alain conaissent bien. Les vins sont à la hauteur de leur réputation. Le lieux est idéal pour un séjour cyclosportif. J'organise chaque année un camp d'entraînement de début de saison en mai avec des amis. La place de Vaison est idéal pour flâner sur une terrase de bistrot devant une bonne bière après un parcours cyclo sur les routes autour du Ventoux (et le sommet quand la forme est là). Les restaurants que je recommande sont le Bartavel et le Tournesol à Vaison, mais de nombreux restaurants d'excellent rapport qualité / prix offrent leurs services dans la région. Pays magnifique,les maisons de vacances de Geneviève et Alain favorisent le repos (aucun bruit la nuit), je recommande vivement cette étape de vacances pour se ressourcer. Au fil des rencontres, Alain et Geneviève sont devenus mes amis de la Provence. Je me réjouis de les revoir en mai 2014.

Agréables Vacances

Location très agréable et calme, conforme à la description. Les propriétaires sont très gentils et accueillants, mais discrets. Superbe piscine avec une vue magnifique sur les vignobles et les dentelles de Montmirail; à apprécier particulièrement le soir auprès d´un barbecue! Nous avons passé de une très agréable semaine, bien reposante; les enfants étaient ravis aussi!
