Earl's Place - A Restored Downtown Geneva Retreat Near Wineries, GOTL & SPIRE!

Welcome to Earl's Place...

After purchasing our house in 2013, my husband & I spent well over a decade lovingly & painstakingly restoring and updating it. Leaving it with lots of its original charm & vintage vibe was a goal we think we were able to keep. Located just 0.3 miles from downtown historic Geneva it is close to nearby restaurants & shops. We are 5 miles from GOTL & Lake Erie, 2.8 miles from the SPIRE Institute, and only 3-8 miles from the local wineries.

After a decades long restoration we strived to maintain the charm, comfort & convenience the home has to offer. We can comfortably accommodate up to 7 people or it is cozy enough for two. With 3 bedrooms upstairs and a pull out queen sofa downstairs.

The main floor
- Back entrance into laundry/mudroom with a washer & dryer.
- Full equipped kitchen with vintage gas stove, dishwasher, full size refrigerator, microwave,
toaster oven, keurig
* Peninsula with 2 bar stools.
- Dining area with large vintage table that can open up to seat 8. Extra leaves & extra(folding )chairs.
- Living room with ceiling fan, couch & loveseat, cabinet that opens up with smart TV, aesthetic vintage LED lite fireplace. Coat rack.
- Office area with hutch storing wine glasses behind glass and board games below.
- Half bathroom off of office.

The Upstairs
- Bedroom #1 has King bed, dresser with mirror, smart TV, garment rack, luggage rack.
* Private half bath attached.
- Bedroom #2 is two beds (split king)with headboards & lamps, garment rack, luggage rack.
- Bedroom #3 is a full size double mattress, cedar chest (extra blankets & pillows). Suitable for one adult or two children. this bedroom has a locking pocket door accessing the full bathroom and another door to bedroom #2.

Full bathroom with a separate shower & separate original deep bathtub. Full size vanity with 2 faucets and extra large sink, toilet.

Linens, towels, extra blankets & pillows are provided. There is also a first aid kit, soap and some cleaning supplies.

The outside
Deck off the back entrance has a table & 6 chairs for eating outside.

This rental was wonderful. I'd give it a 10 out of 10. It was so clean you could eat off the floors. It was very inviting and close to just about anything you'd want to do around the lake. Nice porch in the front and deck in the back. We completely enjoyed the experience and would definitely rent this house again.

It was such a pleasure to host Belinda and her family. Communication was spot on, they totally respected all house rules and left our home clean and tidy. We highly recommend them to other hosts and would happily welcome them back anytime!

My husband Tony & I are homegrown Geneva high school graduates from the class of 1977. We both grew up with a love of the outdoors on local farms here in the grape region. We currently still live on his family farm where we raised 4 children who are all Geneva graduates as well. To say we love this area is an understatement! After purchase and restoration of Earl's place, we felt it would make a great home away from home for those looking for a convenient gateway to all the area has to offer!

Why they chose this property

Earl's place is centrally located close to downtown Geneva and GOTL, shops, places to eat. Local wineries are south within 10-15 mins. Spire is a 5 min drive south.
