We had a nice stay. The property was spacious, nicely appointed, and had everything we needed for our visit. The garage parking spot was a great bonus, especially during the busy season in Salem. While not right downtown, the location was still very convenient for getting around and exploring the area.

Our host was wonderful and the property was both beautiful and spotless. We came into town a day early for a friend's wedding and staying here made everything extremely convenient. Sarah was able to guide us through finding parking for our second vehicle and frequently messaged us to ensure all was well during our stay. A lovely experience - we would 100% book again!

From booking, Sarah was very communicative. Booking, check-in and check-out were a breeze. We were provided with all of the necessary step by step instructions to make sure there were no issues. We were traveling to Salem to celebrate a 60th birthday/girls trip and the rental was perfect. Everything was clean and they even provided extras (such as toiletries) incase you forgot to pack anything. We will definitely keep this in mind for any future trips to Salem.

It was beautiful and clean. Not far from historic Salem, but we did have to drive in. Great for an off peak visit. During peak season (September/October they say it’s hard to get parking, so if you stay here don’t bring a car and uber in.

We really enjoyed our stay. The property was extremely clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable. Overall, it was a lovely place and provided a great experience for our group.One area that could be improved is the listing photos. Many of the photos highlighted the property amenities, but we found it a little difficult to determine where some of these amenities were located or how to access them. A bit more information or directions would be helpful for future guests.The coffee maker was a Nespresso machine, but there were no pods available when we arrived. We had expected at least a few starter pods for our first morning. For travelers who may not be familiar with or prefer Nespresso, a standard coffee maker or Keurig could be a more convenient option.That said, these were minor issues compared to the overall quality of the stay. The property was beautiful, clean, and comfortable, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

We truly enjoyed our time at the Lore! It was a perfect set up and had everything we needed for our family including our daughter and dog. The outdoor space was very pet friendly with spaces for bathroom breaks close by and a walking path. We, unfortunately, weren't able to try the pool because it seemed to close around 8pm and we were often out and about before then. The unlocking and locking the door had a learning curve but once we figured it out, we had no issues.The host was very helpful with all questions during our stay and got back to me very quickly each time. It was a beautiful and clean apartment, we would love to go back!

After finally receiving the check in information, we got up to the unit and could not get in. The building access code, lockbox access code, and use of the fob into the unit were not clearly visible in the check in instructions. When I called to ask for help, the host’s phone connection was poor, and they hung up on me, leaving me outside the apartment with my two young children at 5:30 at night. They never called back. The unit was fairly clean, and the space was nicely laid out. However, the main bedroom smelled like mocha/coffee and kept us awake throughout the night, in addition to the terrible mattress that made it more difficult to sleep. When the hvac fan was running, we were able to drown out the activity from the upstairs unit. Before we left, we started a load of laundry with clothing and our swim towels. The washer broke leaving us with dirty, soapy, sopping wet towels and clothing to bring home the next day in trash bags. I was told we would be compensated and haven’t heard from the host since. What a disgrace and very stressful stay.
