About the host
Hosted by Stacia Renbarger
We’re Stacia and Troy. We’ve called Morse Lake home for 22 years and raised our three boys—Pierce, Dean, and Smith—on this water. In 2014 we opened the first short-term rental on Morse. Hosting again as Barefoot Boho Bay feels like coming full circle.
We’re happiest barefoot: coffee on the deck, boats off the lifts, sunsets from the dock, a fire going when the lake gets quiet. Our golden Nia and Siberian Oakley usually claim a sunny spot too.
We host because we love this stretch of Cicero and we like sending people home with lake-day stories. If you need a local tip—where to dock-and-dine, the best cove, how the water runs that week—just ask. Surrender to the flow.
Why they chose this property
We didn’t pick Cicero for the commute. We picked it for the water.
Barefoot Boho Bay sits on Morse Reservoir—about 1,500 acres of all-sports lake with 30+ miles of shoreline—just far enough north of Indianapolis that the pace drops the second you hit Nantucket Drive. We’ve lived this lake for 22 years and hosted the first short-term rental on Morse in 2014. This pocket of Cicero is the lake life we wanted: deep-water frontage, boats as everyday transportation, sunsets from the dock, and a small town you can walk into.
Mornings are coffee on the deck, then kayaks or paddleboards. Afternoons are skiing, fishing, or floating. Evenings are the fire pit and the lake going quiet. When you want people, downtown Cicero is close—coffee, pizza, 10 West, and the Boathouse Kitchen & Swan Dive for dock-and-dine, live music, and a pet-friendly deck over the water. Red Bridge Park is nearby for the kayak launch, fishing pier, and playground. Fourth of July is Lights Over Morse Lake: parade, food, and fireworks over the water.
Need more than the lake? Noblesville’s square, Morse Park & Beach, Hamilton Town Center, and Carmel are an easy drive. Indy is about 35–45 minutes when you want the city. Then you come home to the slower side.
We chose this neighborhood because it still feels like a real lake town. Barefoot. Boho. Surrender to the flow.
What makes this property unique
This is a real lakefront home, not a house near the water.
You get 75 feet of private deep-water frontage and dock 324 in a prime spot on Morse Lake—easy in, easy out, sunsets from your own yard. Two boat lifts (4,000 and 6,000 lb) plus four jet-ski lifts mean you can actually use the lake, not just look at it. Three paddleboards are ready when you want a quieter morning.
Inside, five bedrooms and three full baths sleep a big crew (18–21 with beds, couches, and extras). Outside is where the stay lives: a huge yard, room to park cars, a trailer, even an RV, a fire pit, a Blackstone and a grill, a private deck off the primary, two more decks for the group, and a she-shed when someone needs a quiet corner.
We’ve lived this lake 22 years and were the first short-term rental on Morse in 2014. The house is pet-friendly (bowls and boho pet beds ready) and built for families who want to be barefoot by dinner.
It’s Morse Lake from the front row—deep water, real dock space, room for everyone, and a small-town Cicero setting you can walk and boat. Surrender to the flow.
