Property was well-maintained. We loved the location and the outdoor space. Host was very responsive. Only minor negative comment is that we did not realize that it didn’t have central air. It wasn’t miserable, but definitely got warmer than expected in the common areas. The master bedroom had an AC unit which kept it cool.

Response from VrboOwner on 21 Aug 2026
Jessica was an okay renter overall, but proved to be somewhat high maintenance. During their stay, I received multiple text messages at 10:00 PM complaining that the house was too hot. This was quite frustrating, as the overnight low that evening was 58 degrees (with a weekly high of only 81 degrees). Simply opening a window would have immediately cooled the space down.
Ultimately, it felt like this guest was looking for reasons to complain rather than simply enjoying the property. If you choose to rent to them, just be aware that they may require extra time, hand-holding, and potentially a nitpicking review.
