The North Frisian island of Föhr is known for its idyllic Frisian villages and picturesque marshland. One of these charming villages is Midlum, where our holiday home, built in 1807, is located. The house borders directly on meadows and fields and captivates with its traditional thatched roof and authentic Frisian charm. From here, you can enjoy a breathtaking view all the way to the dike, which lies kilometres away. A stay in this holiday home thus offers not only rest and relaxation, but also the opportunity to experience the beauty of the Föhr landscape up close. The entire house provides ample space and privacy for two families, friends, or multiple generations. There are two holiday apartments, spread across the ground and upper floors. The apartments can be used and booked completely independently of one another. At the same time, the apartments and gardens can be wonderfully combined. The property, which spans over 1,000 m², is well-separated from the area thanks to its landscaped garden with hedges and fences. The garden is divided between the two apartments. Seating areas and beach chairs invite you to rest and relax on sunny afternoons.

The apartment has a modern design, yet the wooden-mullioned windows and other distinctive elements still give you the feeling that you’re staying in a thatched-roof house over 200 years old. This blend of traditional Frisian architecture and modern amenities gives the apartment a unique character and makes it a place that combines comfort and cosiness. Through the hallway—which is separated from the living room by a large glass door—you’ll find the two bedrooms. The first bedroom has a 1.60-meter-wide bed, while the second room is furnished with two single beds. Both rooms are equipped with practical built-in closets. A shared bathroom with a shower and bathtub is also accessible from the hallway. The large dining and living area, complete with a fully equipped kitchen, offers plenty of space and comfort for cooking and dining together.



Check-in is available from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and check-out from 12:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
