We really enjoyed our stay , the property was clean and tidy and the highlights were the views over the lake and for the kids it was the jacuzzi! The chalet had all the facilities we required.The owner was good at communicating with us and was clear about directions and if we were ever to visit Montreux again we would definitely consider the chalet.

We had a wonderful week in this gorgeous property. It was very clean and well equipped. The view from the terrace was over Lake Geneva was absolutely stunning. The hot tub and bbq were very welcome after a busy day (the weather was just too warm for the sauna!). We loved travelling to and from Montreux in the cog train, which was free with our Montreux travel card. The owners were very helpful and easy to deal with - even giving us a lift back to Montreux to get groceries after check-in. We would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay at the chalet! We had 4 adults and 2 kids and the space was good. The house had everything we needed. We enjoyed the amazing views and the hot tub in the evenings. The host was great with communication and even met us for an early check-in/tour of the house.Downside, it can be a little inconvenient if you are relying on public transportation like we were. The train station of Caux is about a 10-15 min STEEP walk from the house. Caux to house is down, house to Caux is up. The train runs once an hour. Schedule a taxi/uber in advance if you have luggage to get back to train station.

Beautiful view and lovely hot tub and sauna

We had the best stay we have ever had in Switzerland . So quiet and relaxing. Picturesque views and therapeutic hot tub and sauna. We left rested and rejuvenated.
We had a great family dinners at the chalet.
Hot tub and sauna felt so good after a long hike in the mountains.

Our family had an absolutely wonderful time at this property! The views are truly amazing and provided a stunning backdrop for our entire trip. The location is also incredibly convenient, as the access to the rail system is great, making it easy to get around and explore.We spent a lot of time relaxing in the hot tub and sauna, which were the perfect way to unwind. After our active days out and about, our boys especially loved heading to the game room to hang out.The host was exceptionally responsive and went above and beyond by greeting us personally upon our arrival, which made us feel welcome right away. Inside, the rooms were spotlessly clean, and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to feel right at home.Our only complaint is that we wish we could have stayed longer! We would love to come back again.

An unforgettable stay

We would like to thank Mr and Mrs Minka for their warm welcome at their property. We spent a very relaxing stay in Caux overlooking the Lake and our kids loved the place which felt like Home. Everyone enjoyed the jacuzzi with a view as well as the free train next door from Caux to Montreux to make our commute to town easy and fun. If you want to disconnect while not being very far from the vibrant life of the Montreux Riviera, this is the place.

A hidden gem

A spacious chalet overlooking Montreux and Lake Geneva. A truly stunning view. The chalet was very clean and extremely well equipped. Mr and Mrs Minka have thought of everything. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and the sauna where we never got bored of the views. The dining hut was fabulous and we used the fondue and the raclette which were very enjoyable. We loved the free cog mountain train to Montreux and used this many times. We had a great first visit to Switzerland and would thoroughly recommend the chalet.

This is a beautiful property - situated high above Lake Geneva and Montreux. It is spacious, clean and very well stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Communication with Jean-Marie was consistently prompt and helpful. The one and only drawback that I will mention is that unless you are arriving by car or taxi with all your luggage, the access to the property from the Caux train station is challenging. The options on foot are down a very steep pathway using stairs and ends with walking along a rugged edge, OR, walking down a paved pathway that is also a pretty steep decline. And, remember, you must ascend by either of these options when leaving the property to get to the train station. Jean-Marie did meet us at the train and walked us down to the house, showed us everything and then drove all of our luggage to the property’s parking space relatively close to the house. Nothing in the property description mentions the access issues. Overall, it is a beautiful home and we had a lovely stay! The patio is perfect for a sunset meal and glass of wine after a long day sightseeing!

Chalet très propre et trés bien aménagé. Tout est prévu pour passer un agréable séjour. Coin détente avec babyfoot qui a permis de nous retrouver en famille pour quelques parties endiablées ;0). De plus, de petites attentions nous attendaient à notre arrivée, merci aux propriétaires de nous avoir choyés! En bref, de très belles vacances, dans un très bel endroit avec des facilités de transport gratuit pour se rendre aux différents départ de randonnées, lieux de visites et Montreux. A réitérer sans hésiter!

Der Aufenthalt im Chalet war wirklich sehr schön. Die Unterkunft ist wirklich gut ausgestattet, insbesondere der Jacuzzi und die Sauna mit dem absolut fantastischen Ausblick haben aus dem Chalet ein wirklich besonderes Erlebnis gemacht. Die Gastgeber waren wirklich sehr freundlich und haben am ersten Tag sehr geduldig auf uns gewartet, obwohl wir aufgrund der schwierigen Verkehrsverhältnisse auf der Autobahn fast 2 Stunden später als geplant angekommen sind.Wir können die Unterkunft absolut vorbehaltlos weiterempfehlen.

Rundum zufrieden!!!Sehr schöne Lage mit tollem Blick auf den Genfer See inkl. Sonnenuntergänge.Haus liegt auf knapp tausend Meter Höhe, daher im Sommer (zum Glück) ein paar Grad kühler als direkt am See. In der Nähe fährt eine Zahnradbahn vorbei die aber die Idylle überhaupt nicht stört.Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es in der Nähe keine, in Montreux bekommt man aber alles was das Herz begehrt. Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt und sauber, die Küche bestens ausgestattet. Und dann gibt es ja noch die Sauna und den Whirlpool - beides selbstverständlich mit Blick auf den See...

Super, malerische Aussicht auf den Genfer See, aufdie Berge und die wunderschöne Landschaft.Spannend ist die Zahnradbahn, die wenige Meter ent-fernt stündlich am Haus vorbeifährt.Das Haus ist super eingerichtet. Super chalet sur les hauteurs du Lac Léman

Chalet très confortable sur les hauteurs du Lac Léman. Au calme, avec une vue magnifique, et de superbes installations, avec le jacuzzi et le sauna. Propreté impeccable et une petite attention a l'arrivée. Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés. On reviendra sans hésiter.
