Spend your holiday at the Schneckenhaus holiday home, a middle unit in a row of houses located on the outskirts of Prien in a small holiday home community. Just a 5-minute walk from the lake and 2.5 km from city centre Prien, this is an ideal starting point for all kinds of activities.

The modern, open-concept living area forms the heart of this cosy little cottage. A crackling fireplace (which serves as the home’s primary heat source) can be enjoyed not only from the dining area—what could be better during the cold season? Or enjoy the view of the garden from the sofa through the large panoramic window. The open kitchen with dining area is connected to the living area. From here, you can step out onto the terrace and into the garden—where you’re sure to spend many wonderful hours. The ground floor is completed by a bedroom with a double bed (which can be closed off with a sliding door), a hallway, and a modern bathroom with a bathtub and toilet. A staircase connects the living area to the large sleeping area on the open loft, which is furnished with a French bed and two stackable single beds—it’s not possible to stand upright here.


A linen package is provided free of charge for your stay and includes bed linens, 2 tea towels, 1 bath mat, and one shower towel and one regular towel per person.


No traffic noise disturbs the peace here, as the holiday complex’s car park is about 30 metres from the house. You can park your car on the unnumbered shoulder of the dead-end street. We’d like to highlight the property’s unique location: a quiet setting, just a few minutes’ walk from the beach at Lake Chiemsee, and close to the hospital. In a separate building within the holiday complex, you can use the washing machine and dryer for a coin-operated fee. Wi-Fi is available free of charge.


This is a non-smoking property. Up to two dogs are welcome for a surcharge of 15 euros per night per dog. Please note that the property is not fenced in, and dogs must be kept on a leash when outdoors.
