Leibrandts FEIN & REETLICH is a holiday rental of about 60 m² for two people in the historic centre of Tating on the Eiderstedt Peninsula. The ground-floor apartment is located in a traditional thatched-roof house on a well-maintained, landscaped property on a low-traffic residential street. Two terraces shielded from prying eyes and a private Finnish sauna make it a special retreat for a relaxing holiday for two.
What makes it special: You are the only guests in the house.
There are no other residents and no adjacent holiday rentals open to the public. This allows you to enjoy your stay completely undisturbed and have a private retreat for both eventful and relaxing holiday days.
Living with comfort and character
The light-filled apartment, with its bright colours and warm wood tones, high-quality materials, and carefully planned furnishings, creates a calm, cosy atmosphere. The thatched roof provides pleasant coolness during the hot season and cosy warmth in winter.
The stoneware flooring with a textile-like appearance, the well-coordinated lighting, and additional underfloor heating—along with many other thoughtful details—contribute to a cosy living experience.
The living area, together with the open kitchen and dining area, forms the heart of the apartment.
The living area features a comfortable sofa with a chaise longue and footstool, as well as an extensive selection of books—including new releases, bestsellers, classics, non-fiction, and coffee-table books about the region—inspired by the NDR podcast “eat.READ.sleep.” A 55-inch internet-enabled TV, a Bose streaming speaker, and a wall safe are also included. The historic tiled stove from 1804, an antique Swedish grandfather clock, and other charming collectibles lend the room a special atmosphere.
The custom-built open kitchen is high-quality and fully equipped with an induction cooktop, a compact oven with microwave function, a range hood, a dishwasher, a fridge-freezer combo, a Nespresso coffee machine, as well as a pour-over coffee maker and a French press. A toaster, electric kettle, hand mixer, immersion blender, and a wide range of other kitchen accessories round out the kitchen ensemble. Dibbern Solid Colour tableware and antique silver cutlery ensure a stylishly set table.
The spacious dining area, with its comfortable seating, invites you to enjoy meals together and linger.
In the cosy bedroom, a box-spring bed offering a high level of comfort (160 cm x 200 cm) awaits you. The window is equipped with a screen.
In the bright, natural-light-filled shower room, underfloor heating and a towel warmer, a shower with a rain showerhead, and a built-in Wi-Fi-enabled radio create the perfect conditions for a relaxing start to the day. A toilet, sink with vanity cabinet, hair dryer, magnifying mirror, and ample storage space round out the amenities.
The fully mirrored built-in hallway closet offers plenty of storage space.
A small, separate housekeeping storage area contains basic cleaning supplies as well as a vacuum cleaner, clothes drying rack, steam iron, ironing board, folding step stool, fire extinguisher, and more.
Sauna and Terraces
The custom-built sauna combines clean lines, high-quality materials, and timeless design. Regardless of the weather, it offers soothing warmth and a special place for peace and relaxation.
During the summer months, an outdoor shower provides a refreshing cool-down under the open sky.
From the two terraces—surrounded by greenery and shielded from prying eyes—you can enjoy the view of the historic Tating Church. The spacious west-facing terrace, with comfortable seating and lounging areas, invites you to enjoy breakfast, read, and linger. Depending on the season, fresh herbs and vegetables grow on the south-facing terrace—feel free to help yourself and harvest whatever is ripe.
