In the summer, the country women’s speciality market and the Musikantenbörse invite you to linger. The Musikantenbörse takes place every Tuesday evening in the town centre. Here you can enjoy "handmade" music on several stages. Of course, refreshments are also available.

If you’d rather not drive to St. Peter-Ording (about a 10-minute drive) for a swim, why not visit the swimming area in Vollerwiek (about a 5-minute drive)? It’s also easily accessible by bike. At the DLRG-supervised swimming area, you’ll find everything you need for a relaxing day on holiday: parking, freshwater showers, sunbathing areas on the grassy slope, a sandpit, and steps leading into the water. Behind the dike, there’s a popular beach snack bar.
