We also believe that, on the one hand, our fair pricing makes for an affordable stay and, on the other hand, our efforts contribute—at least in a small way—to making your trip more enjoyable, so that ultimately everyone involved experiences a relaxing, stress-free, and happy time, and the following quote will apply to you as well: “Once you’ve been to Skåne, you’ll come back. Again and again.”

More and more people are enjoying their stays in Sweden, especially here in our region of Skåne in southern Sweden. The choice of a destination region can be made based on information found in travel guides or other sources. All the better if all travellers then agree on this together. This should also apply to the type of accommodation, whether it’s a hotel, guesthouse, private room, or your “own” holiday home. We’d like to point this out here because not everyone may be aware that in nearly all holiday homes in this region—including ours—no artificial “heating climate” is created. The climate inside the house is therefore the same as the natural climate surrounding it. Climate tables for this region (e.g., on weatherandclimate (dot) c o m) that temperatures—even in summer and at least at night—regularly drop below 20°C, and that humidity is generally high, averaging about 80%, whereas 40 to 60% would be ideal. The climate inside the house is thus corresponding, with all that entails. The Swedes even use their “own” terms for this, such as “stugdoft” or “stuglukt”—which could be loosely translated as “cabin scent” or “cabin smell.” This is not solely due to the prevailing climate there, but often also to the construction methods, which involve building materials that are in some cases over 100 years old and contribute to these conditions. A stay at a hotel or in more southern regions would likely be the better choice for those who find such conditions bothersome. A holiday home—including ours—is not a hotel and is, in fact, characterised by the conditions mentioned above! While none of this is a secret and should actually be common knowledge, it’s still important to us to talk about it openly and directly once again, even if that may seem paradoxical.
_____________________

The property offers plenty of space to relax and play on approximately 5,000 square metres.
