The country house was built in 1896—(yes, 1896! Austria was still a monarchy and ruled by Emperor Franz Josef)—but don’t worry, a lot has happened since then, of course. Running water and electricity are just as much a given as high-speed internet, flat-screen TV, and a Marshall Bluetooth speaker for your listening pleasure.

The house features 3 holiday apartments spread across 3 floors, accessible via a shared entrance and a quaint staircase.

Landhaus 1896 is located in the centre of Kössen, making it the perfect starting point for almost anything your heart desires—from rafting trips, hiking, and skiing to swimming, golf, paragliding, and much more.

And if you’re looking to unwind, you’re sure to find a cosy spot to relax in the idyllic 300-square-meter garden. Plus, the covered, cosy seating area with a fire pit and grill is perfect for gathering with friends and enjoying each other’s company!

APARTMENT 1 | “INSA BSUNAS” (TYROLIAN FOR “OUR SPECIAL ONE”)
The holiday apartment is located on the ground floor, measures approximately 95 square metres, and features a fully equipped kitchen with a dining area, a cosy living room with two 3-seater sofas and a 55" TV with Netflix, two double bedrooms, each also equipped with a 43-inch TV, a single bedroom, and a bathroom with a rain shower and a separate toilet.

The modern kitchen is fully equipped and leaves nothing to be desired. It features a built-in refrigerator, dishwasher, induction cooktop, and microwave. Additionally, a toaster, a contact grill, a kettle, and pots and pans are available. A Nespresso machine and Riedl wine glasses are also provided for those moments of indulgence.
