The Space:

This is a massive, modern cabin in the heart of Mt. Hood National Forest in Rhododendron, Oregon. About 20 minutes from Skibowl and Government Camp, and 30 from Timberline. We furnished this space with luxury and comfort in mind and it is truly one of a kind in this area.



We also have a beautiful large deck overlooking the Sandy River and the lush forest, with a brand new 7 person hot tub outside.



We have several large gathering areas for families, friends, and ski-bums alike. Our cabin has a large living room with a 55 inch television and a sectional sofa. We also have a large kitchen table for everyone!



The entire purpose of this oasis is to give visitors to the Pacific Northwest easy access to Portland and Mt. Hood, while simultaneously feeling the escape of Oregon’s forests and fresh air. This location is perfect for trail runners, or those that like to mountain bike for recreation or sport. The home sits on just over an acre, including 150 feet of riverfront on the Sandy.



The cabin has brand new, comfortable queen beds with down comforter, duvets and large pillows.



Bedroom set up is as follows:

🛌 Upper floor: 2 Queen beds, 1 full bath on entire top floor (Large open space with some divided privacy, but 2 beds in same general area)

🛌 Main floor: 2 Queen beds, 1 full bath in bedroom with door (Large open space with some divided privacy, but 2 beds in same general area)

🛌 Lower floor: 1 Queen bed in private bedroom, 1 full bath accessed by winding staircase down

🛌 Detached converted garage space connected by covered patio lanai: 2 Queen size BUNK beds in same room - great for kids!



The unit has several brand new appliances, and a large in-unit washer and dryer for your laundry convenience. We have plenty of dishware and cooking utensils for our guests, and a Keurig single serve coffee machine & a drip coffee maker are provided. Coffee & coffee pods too!



The living room has an AppleTV with Netflix, HBO, ESPN, Hulu, and other channels for your viewing pleasure. We're equipped with high-speed Wifi throughout the house. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, laundry soap, cleaning supplies, and extra towels are all provided for our guests' comfort.



This is a perfect space for business travelers, families, or a quick weekend getaway. Take time just outside of Portland to relax at Government Camp, Timberline Lodge, or the other local ski resorts, or enjoy nature in the Columbia River Gorge or Mt. Hood National Park. Eat at one of our many local famous restaurants, or go grocery shopping nearby and cook at the cabin. There's tons of free parking on the property, including an Electric Vehicle charger!



We have done our best to make this place feel like home by including local books and board games. It is our way of sharing what our wonderful state of Oregon has to offer. Thanks for looking, and we hope you'll stay with us!

We welcome pets! Our cleaning team deep cleans between every stay, though we can't guarantee 100% dander-free for allergy-sensitive guests

10 PM - 7 AM (building + city ordinance)



🚭 No Smoking or Vaping

Smoking and vaping are not allowed anywhere on the property, indoors or outdoors. Guests who wish to smoke or vape must leave the property completely.



Interaction with Guests:

We're available by message anytime and typically respond within minutes. We're local to Portland and happy to help with anything - from restaurant recommendations to a quick answer at midnight when you can't find something. We keep a hands-off approach unless you need us, and when you do, we're right there.
