We hope you enjoy a relaxing stay with a view of the water in Eilsum, the tranquil village in the Krummhörn region, situated on the Altes Greetsieler Sieltief, surrounded by fields, nature, and the vast East Frisian landscape, not far from picturesque Greetsiel. Long walks for both people and dogs, as well as bike rides through the Krummhörn region and to the North Sea coast, are refreshing for the mind and soul. Bright, very spacious, and always with a view of the Sieltief, our cosily furnished and well-equipped apartment is located on the ground floor and in the attic of the house. An East Frisian sofa, wingback chairs, a wood-burning stove, and a balcony invite you to take in the view and slow down.

This beautiful, approximately 80-square-meter apartment is located in Eilsum (5 km from Greetsiel) right on the canal and offers a stunning view of the water and meadows. On the upper floor, you’ll find the spacious living area with a dining area, wood-burning stove, sofa, armchairs, and TV, as well as direct access to the furnished balcony with a fantastic view of the water. An electric grill is also available for the balcony. Directly adjacent is the large, fully equipped kitchen, which features a ceramic cooktop, refrigerator with freezer compartment, microwave, dishwasher, filter coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, and a hand mixer. On the same floor, you’ll also find a bedroom with a double bed (separate mattresses), a closet, and a chest of drawers, as well as a beautiful bathroom with a walk-in shower, a large skylight, a washing machine, a toilet, a sink, and a hair dryer. The storage room contains a vacuum cleaner, a clothes drying rack, and other cleaning supplies.

In the converted attic, you’ll find a lovely loft area with two single beds (1.00 m x 2.00 m mattresses), a chest of drawers, an armchair, and a desk. From here, you also have a great view of the canal and the fields beyond!

The bathroom and kitchen are tiled; the rest of the apartment is fitted with high-quality vinyl flooring. The entire upper floor has underfloor heating, and all major windows are equipped with fly screens and pleated blinds—including blackout blinds in the bedrooms.

Up to two dogs, each weighing up to 15 kg, are welcome here!

The apartment includes a parking space in front of the house. A lockable garden shed with an electrical socket for your bicycles is also available.

During the Easter and fall breaks, this accommodation is rented for stays of five nights or more with no fixed check-out day.

In the same building are the accommodation “Kleine Auszeit 23,” “Sieltied,” and “Zweite Heimat”; the houses “Wind in den Bäumen” and “Lieblingsplatz am Siel” are located right next door.

Eilsum is an East Frisian mound village, one of the oldest settlements on the North Sea coast. Discover East Frisia’s historic landscape by bike. Countless, well-signposted bike paths lead you through quaint villages, along canals, and hiking trails. Visit the romantic fishing village of Greetsiel or the port city of Emden with its art gallery, museums, the “Otto-Huus,” and much more.

The apartment is located in a new development, so unfortunately we cannot rule out occasional noise and dust disturbances.
