Upper-floor apartment for one to five people

In northern Bavaria, in the Fichtelgebirge Nature Park, stands our holiday home, “Haus am Seeufer.” With its two holiday apartments in an excellent location right on the lake, it can accommodate 1 to 8 people. The apartments are located right on Lake Weißenstadt, not far from the lakeside promenade and the adjacent swimming beach. Our newly renovated property, featuring two self-contained holiday apartments—each 60 m²—and the garden area, can accommodate 1–8 people. Special attention was paid to the needs of young families and guests young at heart when furnishing the bright, spacious apartments with a view of the lake (150 m from the lake). In addition, all apartments are equipped with high-speed internet and are suitable for working from home—or, as they say, a “workcation.” The lake invites guests of all ages to relax, fish, swim, surf, go paddle boating, and much more. For our younger guests, there’s a lovely playground and water play area right on the lake. Furthermore, the Siebenquell thermal spa—with its extensive wellness offerings for all ages—and the centre of Weißenstadt, with its shopping options, are just a few minutes’ walk away. Cafés, restaurants, and a wide range of attractive recreational activities—such as hiking, biking, motorbiking, inline skating, enjoying nature, cultural events, and much more—are all located in the immediate vicinity. The bike path runs right past our accommodation. Motorcyclists will also find plenty to enjoy thanks to the unique landscape and scenic routes through the Fichtelgebirge Nature Park. In winter, the Fichtelgebirge has plenty to offer, such as cross-country skiing, ice skating, sledding, downhill skiing, and winter hiking or snowshoeing. The upstairs apartment accommodates 1–5 people. The furnishings are designed with young families and their needs in mind. The cosy living room, with a large sleeper sofa and flat-screen TV, invites you to relax. The fully equipped kitchen, featuring a dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, stove, oven, kettle, egg cooker, toaster, and fully automatic coffee machine, leaves nothing to be desired. The bedroom features a double bed and a large closet with ample storage space, as well as the option to set up a travel cot. The bathroom is equipped with a bathtub, a sink, and a toilet, as well as a hair dryer, etc. In addition, a “kids’ package” is available, including a travel cot, bottle warmer, high chair, changing table, toys, and much more (see Kids’ Package Contents). Please note that pets are allowed only by prior arrangement. In addition, the apartments are equipped with a shoe-polishing and sewing kit, as well as an in-room safe. Parking is available nearby, approximately 50 metres from the accommodation. Starting in spring 2025, a garage with an electric charging station will be available directly in front of the house. Check-in is available starting at 1:00 PM. Check-out is due by 10:30 AM. Other check-in and check-out times are possible upon request. Keys are provided via a key safe on-site. Pets are allowed upon request.(10.00 EUR per night) A cot or rollaway bed can be provided upon request (free of charge). The visitor’s tax of 1.50 EUR per person (ages 16 and up) per night will be charged separately on-site. Students, schoolchildren, and individuals with a GDM of 50 pay half the rate. The base price includes towels, bed linens, final cleaning, and a fully equipped kitchen.
