The house is situated directly on Lake Sternberg, on the edge of a small holiday home community and near a picturesque grove. Those seeking peace and quiet will find everything they’re looking for here: If you enjoy being woken up by birdsong and want to enjoy nature to the fullest, you’ve come to the right place!
Outside, you’ll find a barrel sauna for up to 4 people—perfect for relaxing—as well as a refreshing outdoor shower.
Our lovingly furnished holiday home can accommodate up to 5 people. On the upper floor, you’ll find a cosy bedroom with a double bed and a lake view, as well as another room with a pull-out bed and a récamière that converts into a bed. Adjacent to these is a small bathroom.
On the ground floor, the rustic and cosy living and dining room invites you to linger. The living area is equipped with a comfortable upholstered seating area and a smart TV (including Apple TV, Netflix, and Disney+), while the dining area seats up to 6 people. Through the large patio window, you can enjoy a soothing view of Lake Sternberg.
The fully equipped kitchen—including a Jura fully automatic coffee machine—leaves nothing to be desired. Right next to it is a fully equipped bathroom.
The spacious outdoor area features two terraces: one with a magnificent lake view and one behind the house, perfect for barbecuing, relaxing, and sunbathing, complete with patio furniture.
From April through October, you’ll also have your own rowing boat at your disposal.
Nothing stands in the way of a perfect holiday here! :) The town of Sternberg, with its historic city centre, nestles along the shores of the large Lake Sternberg. In the summer, the lake is perfect for swimming, fishing, and boating. The entire area around Sternberg offers plenty of opportunities for relaxation—whether it’s hiking right along the lake, all the way to the Upper Lakes, or biking through the rolling countryside. For those who love adventure, a canoe trip through the picturesque Warnow Gorge would be just the thing.
Sternberg is very centrally located, so you can set out from there on many day trips—for example, to the state capital Schwerin, Wismar, Rostock, Güstrow, or the Baltic Sea, etc.
