Welcome to “Wening Hüs – Wening Trii” in Wrixum on Föhr—a charming thatched-roof holiday home that combines North Frisian cosiness with modern living comfort. Situated in a quiet, green setting in the idyllic village of Wrixum, this is the perfect place for anyone seeking a relaxing getaway on the island—close to nature and yet just a few minutes away from Wyk and the sea.

The lovingly furnished holiday rental offers approximately 60 m² of space for up to 4 people and is ideal for couples, families, or a holiday with your dog. The open-concept living and dining area, featuring a cosy sitting area and an integrated kitchen, creates a warm, inviting atmosphere where you’ll feel right at home and can unwind immediately. Large windows provide plenty of light and a welcoming ambiance with a view of the greenery.

Two separate bedrooms offer restful retreats for relaxing nights, while the modern bathroom rounds out the living comfort. The well-equipped kitchen, complete with a dishwasher and oven, allows for a flexible and independent holiday at your own pace.

A special highlight is the private garden area with a terrace, which offers plenty of privacy outdoors. Here you can enjoy the fresh North Sea air, peaceful mornings, or relaxing evenings in the typical Frisian tranquility.

Bicycles can be stored in the garage, and a washing machine is available for your use free of charge in the basement.

Right next door: two additional holiday apartments for couples or families—ideal if you’re travelling with friends but still want to enjoy your privacy.

Wrixum is one of the most beautiful villages on Föhr—characterised by thatched-roof houses, narrow paths, and abundant nature. At the same time, the beach, the harbour, and the charming city centre area of Wyk are within easy reach, making the location particularly attractive for a varied holiday.

A parking space right next to the house and Wi-Fi are, of course, available. Check-in is available starting at 4:00 p.m., and contactless check-in is available upon request. Bed linens and towels can be booked as add-ons, and longer stays are also possible.

Key pickup is available Monday through Saturday between 4:00 PM and 9:00 PM—and, upon request, we’re happy to arrange a hassle-free contactless pickup. Check-out is available until 10:00 a.m. To ensure you can relax and enjoy your holiday from start to finish and make the most of your time with us, we’re happy to offer early check-in or late check-out upon prior arrangement and for an additional fee.
