Romantic Park-Like Setting

The Strawberry Cottage and the grounds are perfect for a Wedding. The grounds are beautiful and the catering could be set up in the newly built garage with tents set up on the property. It is so picturesque in the summer with the gardens in bloom.
The Space
This could go from renting a private room and bath or the entire home. There are actually 5 bedrooms but only three are set up as bedrooms the others are a sewing room and office.This is up to whatever the client desires. This home is on an acre of land with beautiful gardens with lovely indoor and outdoor spaces. All my friends say it looks like a Bed and Breakfast. There is master bedroom with a private balcony and 5 piece bath. The other two bedrooms share a bathroom. Very close to downtown Cleveland in the lovely community of Willoughby and Willoughby Hills. We are very near Lake Erie and Manakiki Golf Course is right across the street in the park-like setting of the home since the golf course used to be an old estate. You will love staying here and will not want to leave. Full access to kitchen with towels and all bedding provided. There are so many parks in the general area because the Cleveland area was built on a park system when it was created. The Cuyahoga National Forest is only 30 minutes away. The neighbourhood is all residential and everyone is friendly. The home itself is in a park-like setting too. There are three outdoor spaces for eating, talking or relaxing. There is a large front porch with overlooks the garden, an outdoor patio at the side which overlooks the meadow and ravine and an outdoor deck for eating with nature. Perfect for the spring and summer! You have access the entire home except the office and sewing room

Strawberry Cottage is located just east of Cleveland and you can be down to University Circle, Downtown Cleveland, The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Progressive Field (the Tribe), The Browns Stadium and The Cleveland Clinic in 20 minutes with easy access to the highway. Hillcrest Hospital and Progressive Insurance are just down the road. Beachwood Mall and Legacy Village are 15 minutes away too. This is a perfect place to visit family in Cleveland, a romantic hideaway, or a long term stay for business. You make it what you want.

The Neighbourhood
The neighbourhood is charming. You are in a country setting but very near the highway and also the charming town of Willoughby with fabulous restaurants and shops and Sun Plum....a great farmers market open all year round for fresh vegetables, fruit and baked goods.
Getting around
There is no public transportation but everything is easily accessible by car and great biking in the summer. Very near two metro for walking and one for golf which is right across the street from the house and is a public course.
