Very quiet, quaint, private...extremely pleasant space to relax in. A lot of lovely antiques, so possibly not the right place for a family with young children, but perfect for adults/teens.

Lovely home, great front porch with quiet view of flowers, green grass. Very peaceful. Inside had everything. Upstairs bed was extremely comfy. Cozy house, stunning neighborhood and area. Our visit couldn’t have been better.

Corky is a great host. She showed us everything in the house and was extremely easygoing. The house was extremely clean, and everything needed in the house was provided. The house is a beautiful historic home with many nice touches. It can be used for many reasons. I stayed there to see the sights around Cleveland. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, and this beautiful home made it that much more enjoyable.

Lovely cottage in Willougby Hills

We loved staying here, it is quaint and comfy. We really enjoyed view from the dining area to watch various beautiful birds, squirrels, and deer. It was very peaceful. Corky was super amazing and went out of way to help us! We are so glad to have found this place and her!

A lovely place to stay

We were pleasantly surprised to see that the home and grounds are just as described and pictured. It's a lovely home, well maintained and set up to make you feel at home. A maintenance issue came up while we were there and it was quickly resolved. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and you are centrally located to any place you may want to go. Definitely a place you'll want to return to.

Cozy, welcoming home!!

The home is clean and cozy, very welcoming. Everything is as listed online and the host was very welcoming, as well as very responsive! Bird feeders were kept full for the duration of our stay and we loved watching all the birds, squirrels, chipmunks and deer!! The beds were comfortable and the master bedroom and bathroom were so big and roomy!! Would definitely stay again!

Girl trip exploring Cleveland and surrounding area. House is clean, comfortable beds, you will notice something new every time you enter a room. When at the house we were usually outside. There are several porches with seating areas to enjoy the beautiful gardens and for birdwatching.

Wonderful house. Wonderfully appointed with wonderful hosts. You cannot go wrong with this choice. We were in for a wedding. If the opportunity arises to return in the spring to play the golf course that is literally down the street this location would be our first choice by far.

Amazing house!

We really enjoyed staying at this house! The flowers and plants around the yard are so beautiful and well maintained. Watching the birds in the feeders outside the kitchen window was our favorite morning event. The inside of the house are comfortable, clean and well accommodated. We felt at home. The property owner was very attentive and made everything super easy. Definitely plan to stay here at our next trip to Cleveland!

Perfect Getaway

This Strawberry Cottage was perfect. I can't say enough. Beautifully decorated, spotless with everything you need. The owner is attentive and would do anything for you. They even went out of their way to show us Cleveland. The golf course is right across the street which we enjoyed. We will definitely return. If you are going to the Cleveland area this is the place to stay.

Sister Getaway

I planned a sister get-a-way and stayed here. It couldn’t have been any more perfect! We saw the Garfield house,Holden Arboretum, and shopped Chagrin Falls. The location was perfect! We had so many choices of where to sit and chat each evening! The house was spotless and so very beautiful,but still cozy! We loved sitting at the kitchen table watching the birds!!! Great place, great host, great time!!!

Photos are accurate. Plenty of space, well-equipped, comfy beds, lots of towels. No problems, everything worked fine. Detailed communications before check-in and hostess/owner was available by phone and email during our stay. Corky’s hobbies and skills are evident throughout the house’s charming decor and beautiful gardens. Would happily book in again.

Strawberry Delight

We are 3 friends living in 3 widely dispersed states who gathered together at the Strawberry Cottage for a reunion. The house is charming and inviting, cozy and near the interstate and attractions. Our favorite spot was the kitchen nook where we gathered at the round table for breakfast and watched cardinals, Downey and red-bellied woodpeckers, purple and gold finches, red-winged blackbirds and multiple types of sparrows. The host was helpful and easily accessible for questions and restaurant recommendations. We highly recommend the Strawberry Cottage as your home away from home while in the Cleveland area.

Host-free rental? Think again.

The host stays on the property next door and monitors your every move.One of her rules is that visitors of the guests are to park on the street. We were told by her appointed greeter that we didn't need to park on the street. Both sides of the street are lined with a ditch, making exiting and entering the car difficult. I asked if visitors could park in the driveway. She said it was my choice, and if anyone drives over her flowerbeds that they are "dead meat." I felt that visitors, all over 55, were capable of avoiding the flowerbeds which are bordered by large landscape rocks. At one point, she drove up the gravel drive at a higher speed than necessary, got out, and yelled at me in front of guests, stating she was very pissed. She messaged me that her driveway looked like a used car lot and stated, " You must have been a kid who never took 'No' for an answer."We moved some outdoor chairs around so that we could all sit in one area. She messaged me, telling me to put everything back where they were found. If she hadn't been watching us constantly, she wouldn't even know that we had moved the chairs.I went from being offered to rent in the future by calling her cell to avoid all the VRBO fees to she'll never rent to me again. She did thank us for leaving the house so clean upon our departure, insinuating we did that to get into her good graces. I replied that we always leave the homes we rent in the same condition as when we arrived, to which she replied, "Grow up."
