Step outside and you’ll be immersed in village life: wine bars, restaurants, and local markets are all within walking distance. Greve in Chianti also offers a public swimming pool—covered in winter and open-air in summer.



The beautiful Piazza Matteotti hosts a lively market every Saturday; on Easter Sunday, the traditional Colombina ritual; on Easter Monday, the flea market; in May, the plant and flower market, as well as various artisan and organic product markets throughout the year.



Nearby, within a few kilometers on foot, you’ll find Montefioralle, a medieval village that has preserved its original appearance.



Greve in Chianti is the gateway to Chiantishire, with its hills, vineyards, and medieval villages, and is an ideal starting point for Florence and Siena (less than an hour’s drive), as well as Arezzo, San Gimignano, and Certaldo.
