GRIFFONWOOD is located right on the ocean, on the white beach, on the dune, in the front row, in an antique villa built in the seaside resort architectural style, on the quietest and most beautiful stretch of the Binz beach promenade on Rügen.

If you’re arriving by car or motorcycle, leave the other holidaymakers behind and drive straight to your villa in pole position. You can park right next to the main entrance (parking space no. 20) with no neighbouring parking spaces and no height restrictions.

An lift effortlessly takes you and your luggage up to the top third floor, to your apartment, which basks in the warming sun until late in the evening.

Upon arrival, you can easily walk to the Binzer Bucht tourist office in just six minutes to find out about the island’s attractions or current and upcoming events in Binz.

Just a few metres further on, you’ll find shopping options for all ages.

Neither too close nor too far away, the vibrant atmosphere of the bars and restaurants welcomes you.
Cultural entertainment is also available at the Kurhaus and on the Kurplatz.

You can relax and enjoy the day on the beach in front of the house or in a lounge chair on the rooftop terrace.

The apartment is compact and offers a side view of the Baltic Sea, if you’d like.
At Griffonwood, you’ll enjoy a very private holiday experience, far removed from mainstream interior design trends.

Griffonwood (for 2 people) is the older sister apartment to Balance (for 2 people).

Why not take a holiday for four (2+2) in Binz with some dear friends or your friendly neighbors?

This way, each couple has their own private space. You can spend the day enjoying activities together or on your own, and in the evening, explore the island’s cuisine.

From Balance, you can head out to sea or explore the island and its surroundings—one of Germany’s most beautiful islands. The sea, known as a reservoir of summer heat, provides a pleasant climate for the colourful autumn activities.

The tranquility and the refreshing, clean air along the Baltic Sea coast during the winter months are no longer an insider’s secret. Depending on the weather, you’ll experience a fairy-tale winter landscape or enjoy the sight of the green rolling hills with their diverse array of bare trees.
Alone as a couple in the restaurant—it feels like an island made just for us.
