The 70-square-meter upstairs apartment accommodates 1–4 people and features a private entrance, a cosy living and dining room with a tiled stove, and a spacious south-facing balcony. The wood-frame construction creates a rustic and warm, inviting atmosphere. Guests who prefer to cook for themselves will appreciate the modern, fully equipped kitchen with an oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, electric kettle, and plenty of dishes. The spacious double bedroom and another room with a single bed, a pull-out couch, and access to the “sleeping loft” provide plenty of sleeping options, even for families with several children—bed linens included. Additional guests are possible upon request. Feel free to try out the different pillows. The bathroom with a shower is equipped with towels, a hair dryer, liquid soap, toilet paper, and cleaning supplies. In the garden, you’ll find a private barbecue area with a table, bench, chairs, and two lounge chairs for relaxing. Whether you’re a couple, a family, or a small group (please, no party guests), the apartment offers plenty of space, and we’re happy when our guests feel right at home. We took over the Weitblick holiday home in the health resort of Solla/Thurmansbang, located at Hirtenbuchet 1/3, in 2022, and have lovingly renovated and redesigned it. Our guests especially appreciate the stunning panoramic views, the starry skies, and the peaceful location at 750 metres, right next to the forest. It’s a wonderful place for those seeking relaxation and a central starting point for activities in and around the Bavarian Forest National Park. The hostess offers a range of experiences, from wellness massages, coaching, and crisis counseling to guided hikes, forest swimming, and vision-building sessions. Free parking is available right next door. In winter, sleighs are available for you to use, as there’s a small ski hill with a tow lift right across the street. The Windhoch, a lookout point with a breathtaking view all the way to the Alps, is a 5-minute walk away, as are the mushroom nature trail and the children’s playground. The famous and impressive Wackelstein, the little stone church, and Lake Ebenreuth are also within walking distance. Other nearby attractions include Lake Eginger (with a swimming pool and thermal baths) and Pullman City for Western enthusiasts, or the Tittling Museum Village next to the charming Lake Dreiburgen. Shopping opportunities are available in Innernzell (7 km) or in Schönberg (9 km). A highlight here is also the observation tower and a visit to “de zwoa” for delicious food and drinks in the beer garden. Passau, the “city of three rivers,” with its historic sights and traditional restaurants, along with the Neuschönau Tree Top Trail and its picturesque hiking trails, offers a wide range of experiences for all ages. Whether you’re looking for peace and quiet, want to enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings, or wish to experience cultural highlights, you’ll find something to suit every taste here. A 50% deposit is due upon booking/invoicing; the remaining balance is due 14 days before arrival via bank transfer. Additional relaxation and activity offerings from your host are available by arrangement—wellness massages or RESET temporomandibular joint adjustments, “walking” conversations (coaching and crisis support in nature), forest swimming or nature experiences, vision-building sessions with collage creation... Check-in is available from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Please check out by 10:00 AM. Other check-in and check-out times are possible upon request. Please contact us in advance if necessary. Keys are typically handed over in person on-site. A travel cot and a high chair are provided free of charge upon request. To accommodate guests with allergies, pets are not allowed. The visitor’s tax of 0.50 EUR per person per night will be charged separately on site. Drinks are available for purchase on site. With the free guest card, you’ll receive various discounts in the surrounding area.
