The Reethaus L – Summer House 54 is located in Grödersby near Arnis, Germany’s smallest town. Surrounded by water, tranquility, and Nordic serenity, you’ll immediately feel right at home here. This 19th-century thatched cottage has been lovingly restored, blends harmoniously into its surroundings, and offers a stylish retreat for two people across 55 m².

The combined living and dining area features an open layout and invites you to linger. The large dining table easily accommodates social evenings, while the sofa, armchair, and coat rack round out the room’s cosy atmosphere. The atmosphere is clean, cosy, and deliberately smoke-free.

Cooking with joy.

The open kitchen is equipped with high-quality appliances, making self-catering a breeze. An induction cooktop, oven, refrigerator with freezer compartment, dishwasher, Nespresso capsule machine, electric kettle, toaster, and hand mixer are all provided—ideal for relaxed meals on holiday.

Sleeping under a thatched roof.

The bedroom is located on an open loft and is furnished with a comfortable box-spring bed (180×200 cm), an open footboard, a wardrobe, and blackout curtains. A quiet retreat for restful nights.

The bathroom features a walk-in shower, toilet, sink, mirror, hair dryer, and a window—functional, bright, and pleasant.

Sun, sauna, summer evenings.

The private south-facing terrace features patio furniture, a sun umbrella, and a windbreak—perfect for relaxing outdoors. A communal garden and a sunbathing lawn are also available. A special highlight is the garden sauna (barrel sauna) with an outdoor shower for communal use. It is operated via a coin-operated machine (€6.00 per hour).

Entertainment & Comfort.

Two smart TVs (in the living room and bedroom), books, and high-speed fiber-optic Wi-Fi provide entertainment and comfort. Underfloor heating in the living area, fly screens on at least one window per room, a vacuum cleaner, and a full-length mirror round out the amenities.

Notes & Practical Details.

A parking space is located directly on the property. Bicycles can be stored in a shared area; e-bikes can be stored on the terrace or charged indoors. One dog is welcome. Barbecuing is not permitted due to the thatched roof.
