Nohen is located in the beautiful, unspoiled Hunsrück region. An ancient trade route passed through the town as far back as the Bronze Age—the “Alte Weg” still bears witness to this. The award-winning “Nohener Traumschleife” and the “Nahe-Steig” trail both run through Nohen. Traces of the Celtic era can still be felt in many places throughout the region. The world-famous gemstone town of Idar-Oberstein is just a few kilometres from the holiday rental... and if you’re an experienced hiker, you can still find some edible mushrooms here in the surrounding forests starting in late summer. The Nohen train station is about 400 metres from the cottage!
In general, an external portable barrel sauna can be booked at any time. You’re welcome to bring your own firewood or purchase it on site.
Sound massages, meditation sessions, or mindfulness retreats can be booked on site.



The 5th Room:

The 55-square-meter holiday apartment and the treatment room have been designed with solid wood furniture, clay plaster, lime wash, and natural oils for the wood floors. The apartment has its own entrance, so you can move in undisturbed. A toaster, electric kettle, and French press are, of course, provided in the kitchen. The refrigerator has a freezer compartment. The bed is 1.60 metres wide, as is the comfortable sleeper sofa in the living room. Cotton bed linens, 2 towels per person, and a hair dryer are included in the price. The bathroom has a walk-in shower. You’re welcome to use the in-unit washing machine and dryer for an additional fee! Wi-Fi is available at all times. Bicycles can be parked in the garage. The entire house is powered by green electricity! The house is a smoke-free home.
The holiday rental has been renovated using eco-friendly materials. You’re welcome to light a fire in the fire pit in the courtyard at any time. This is a place to slow down!



On-site costs: A 50% prepayment is charged after booking. The remaining balance is due via bank transfer no later than 14 days before arrival. Check-in is available from 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Check-out is between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM. Other check-in and check-out times are possible upon request. Please contact us in a timely manner to arrange this, if necessary. Keys will be handed over in person on site. Pets are not allowed. The apartment’s washing machine is available for a fee of 8,- per load (including eco-friendly detergent), and the dryer for 6,-. An external portable barrel sauna can be booked in advance. The sauna costs 150, including setup and takedown. Firewood can be purchased from Eduard or brought along. Sound massages can be booked on-site or reserved in advance.



Check-in is from 4:00 PM to 11:00, and check-out is from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
