Peaceful Malibu Chateau

The house is amazing with gorgeous gardens. It is quiet and peaceful. We saw many birds and other nature. The theater was a lot of fun for my family to watch a movie and relax. We also played pool and foozeball. Overall, it was a wonderful time that gave us plenty of room to relax and enjoy.

Malibu Tuscany peaceful

With open doors, Pamela welcomed us with appetizers , indoors Outdoors such warmth with positive vibes* Our dog had a blast here running around each of the 3 levels. We are looking forward to coming back again to their home, more time this summer in Malibu! Absolutely will be taking a Drive North of the coast to see more beautiful beaches She also gave us a tour of another Home where Big Little lies and Selena Gomez Chef show and Hannah Montana TV show was filmed Such a lovely feeling in their home knowing that there is hot tubs with sauna and steam shower.. Enjoy!

Malibu Villa

We stayed in the villa for our wedding. The home was a great place for our wedding party to stay together and we had the opportunity to take amazing pictures before heading to GLADSTONES for the ceremony and reception on the beach (ask for Mara. She was amazing!!!). Great getaway spot for peace and quiet. Very clean. Great for dinner parties and weddings. Ocean mist lines the mountains early morning and in the evening. Great views. Walking distance to paradise cove beach and cafe. Minutes to shopping and Pepperdine Univ.

Malibu stay

Overall the property was excellent and as advertised, it is a bit of a hike to paradise cove and unusual high temperatures probably made it seem a bit longer, and the house for the first day a little warmer as well. Once it cooled down the house was cooler and the beach walk got shorter. As the host suggests Zuma beach is much better and worth the short drive to get there. My son and I did virtual PE there since that was his last class of this virtual school age. We had 3 kids and all doing virtual schooling so the wifi worked great to handle the load. Having more than 6 does limit the ability to go out for dinner, but we had no problem with restaurant delivery and leveraged that for a couple of the nights. It was awesome to get away and spend some very quiet nights at the villa and my family got some awesome pictures!

Beautiful house in a great location with a gracious host

We had a large group of 11 people across two families. We were looking for a big house that could accommodate all of us and this property was perfect!!! It is a beautiful Italian villa set into the Malibu hills. It feels very secluded and private. However, the house is close to everything you would want to do in Malibu!!! Minutes from Zuma beach, Escondido Falls, the Malibu Pier, Lily’s Malibu, Pepperdine University, Point Dume State beach, paradise cove beach cafe. It’s a little bit a walk (~1.5 miles), but you can take a lovely hike to the beach. It’s also removed for the busyness of LA, but close enough to get into the city with ease. The location is perfect. We walked up the hill several times a day for a beautiful view of the ocean during the day or the stars at night. Joseph and Pam were incredibly kind and gracious hosts. We have used VRBO numerous times and they were by far the most inviting and welcoming. They met us when we arrived to show us around the property. They had a small welcome gift for us. Between our pre-trip interactions and their welcoming introduction, we felt like we were staying at a friends house. We used the sauna almost every night, which after very full and active days, was a great way to wrap up the day. This is a special property with special owners/hosts. Thanks so much Pam and Joseph for your graciousness and hospitality. We look forward to staying at your house when we come back to Malibu.

Pam communicated with us throughout the whole process and gave us a personal tour, with all the details for a home this size, upon check in. We had a large group in for a family function and the home was perfect for our needs. The rooms and bathrooms are very spacious and well appointed. Thanks to Pam for a great visit!

Perfect Venue and Service!

The house was fabulous and a great spot for my get together! We were 7 girls celebrating my engagement and this was the perfect get away! It is a short distance from the beach, ranches and restaurants. The house is huge and well decorated. The Bouganim family checked in on us and ensured we had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable! I would definitely recommend this house for the perfect Malibu dream getaway!

Nice House, Lots of Problems & Stressful

Stayed here for a bachelorette party. My experience was not smooth. Pam is quick to respond and has great intentions but she is not easy to deal with. We came on a stormy weekend, but dealing with her on top of it did NOT help. There were also other issues that had nothing to do with the storm. - The storm that weekend created flooding and river streams your car had to pass in order to get to the house. I was told I needed an SUV or I couldn't come up. Panicking I had to borrow a friend's car. Then there was the hassles of what our guests needed to do as they did not all have SUV's. It was a nightmare. - The house is nice with nice views and it's spacious. The decor was definitely unique and not my taste. - There is a theater room available but it didn't have a lot of seating and it was old and a bit daunting. We never used it. - There weren't enough towels for everyone. - The kitchen area has some basic items but it's very disorganized and hard to find. No filtered water. Must bring your own water, trash bags, paper towels basically everything you would need for a weekend. Supermarkets are close but not easy to get to. Pulling out of the driveway and then heading out and with the floods was a daunting task. - Coffee was very important to us. I was told there would be coffee ready for us but this was not true. I even asked her several times to MAKE SURE I didn't need to bring any myself. The house is full of coffee drinkers so this was a very annoying way to start your day. - The power went out in one bedrooms and bathroom for one whole evening/night. One of the girls sleeping in that room was pregnant and was afraid she might slip and fall on the way to the bathroom in the middle of the night. She had to sleep with a candle and cell phone by her side. - There are TUB jacuzzi's in 2 of the bathrooms, NOT actually jacuzzis. - The shower in the downstairs bathroom flooded. We had clothes on the floor and had to throw it out because it was covered in the sewer water. I had to go outside and hold down a button for 5 mins to drain it myself. - She asked me NOT to leave a review which means she knows the experience here was not good for us. Got the deposit back quickly (within a few days). Still had a good time because the company and the space was all we needed. But for the price we paid, the experience was not up to par. This is just the honest truth and I have nothing to gain other than to help you future travelers!

Beautiful Home

We had a wonderful Memorial weekend in this lovely home. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood, but close to the beach and Southern CA attractions. There were 14 of us and the home had plenty of space and sleeping arrangements to accommodate us all. We especially loved the large dining table to all be able to share meals together and play games. The theater room was another favorite, enjoyed by everyone. The owners were very personable and easy to work with and answered every question without delay.

Great Experience!!

I loved this spot! It was so roomy and luxurious-I could not help but dance my way throughout the house. After the triathlon, I relaxed on the lawn and The front and backyard were so beautiful. The sunset was so inspiring that I couldn't stop taking pictures. The decor of the house is really chic and the architecture is super classy!

Quiet, secluded, and beautiful!

My wife and I rented this property last month so we could have a lot of peace and quiet to help us focus on preparing for the Nautica Malibu Triathlon on the beach. We slept great and everything went smoothly! One of the biggest surprises was the 240V eCharger in the garage that we were happy to use on our own electric vehicle allowing us to travel efficiently during our stay. This beautiful home is located conveniently close to PCH and we got to enjoy the city of Malibu after the event which made our stay that much better. Highly recommended! Very respectable owners!

This was a very mediocre experience and the house was not set up for success. There were many personal items left out and even the refrigerator was full of the owners personal food with no where to store ours. There were many video cameras around making us question our privacy. The son who greeted us made a point to tell us that the police would be by and to just show them the rental agreement. The police did arrive at 1am (4 hours after we went to sleep) and made a joke about how often they visit this house. We had to call the owner to get our security deposit returned after two weeks and she tried to charge us $100.00 for a "red stain" on the counter which was not there when we left. Overall I don't think this house should be on VRBO. Would not recommend.

I grew up in Cheviot Hills,next to MGM original studios, Century City Mall
We love to travel , for example Israel, Europe, U.S.A.,Thailand, Saudi, Morocco, etc..
