Keys are picked up from a lockbox at the Kraushaar Holiday Rentals Service Office at Strandstraße 10, 24235 Laboe.

Current notice: From late May through mid-October 2026, the K30 between Laboe and Stein will be completely closed due to construction. Since your designated service office is located in Laboe, you can only continue on to Stein and Marina Wendtorf via the signposted detour.

Charming and simple, this one-room apartment accommodates up to 2 adults and 1 child on the 2nd floor of Haus Zugvogel (Palstek 2b), located one block back from the marina.

The apartment offers everything you need for a holiday by the sea: a bright bathroom with a shower, a small kitchenette, a comfortable double bed, a sofa bed, a closet, and a TV. There’s also plenty of room for a travel cot.

Due to the surrounding buildings and its location on the second floor, there isn’t a direct ocean view, but you can catch a glimpse of the marina and the boat masts through the gaps between the other holiday homes. In any case, the marina and the adjacent beach are just a stone’s throw away.

From Wendtorf, you can enjoy wonderful bike rides or hikes along the coast or through the enchanting salt marshes with sheep, cows, and horses. At the marina, you can charter a motorboat if you have a valid recreational boat licence. The neighbouring town of Stein is within walking distance, while Laboe is accessible by bike. In the summer, you can enjoy light snacks right at the marina, and fresh fish is available straight from the fishing boat. Let the fresh breeze blow through your hair—for example, on a bike ride. Enjoy a holiday on the Baltic Sea with wonderful views. Kids of all ages can let off steam in the new indoor play paradise. Adventurers will be drawn to the black-light indoor adventure golf course. If you’d rather get a taste of city life, you can be in the state capital, Kiel, in no time.

You’ll find a public parking space in front of the house. There is a storage area at the house for bicycles you bring with you or rent.

Would you like to bring your dog on holiday? One dog is welcome to stay for an additional fee. Please understand that this holiday rental is a smoke-free property.
