Lovely Two Bedroom Getaway Located On Omni National Golf Course
This spacious 1150 sq. ft. 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom single story townhome is in a gated community. The Omni Tucson National 36 hole golf course is a short drive from the unit. The extensive grounds are park like with well-maintained lawns, wide streets, & mature trees. Many examples of desert landscaping are tastefully integrated. The home is a short walk to the community pool and hot tub.
We allow small to medium sized dogs but NO CATS please. Our daughter is allergic to them.
We allow bookings of 4 nights or more.
This home is tastefully furnished with good quality contemporary and antique furnishings with a South Western flare. High speed internet, with WiFi is provided as well as XFinity HDTV. The master bedroom has a king size bed, with a TV, large walk-in closet and double sinks in the large bathroom. The master bath has a tub/shower combination. The second bedroom has 2 twin beds with the second bathroom (also with a tub/shower combination) just outside the bedroom door.
For those of you that need to do a bit of work while on vacation, there are two desks in the unit; one is in the Master bedroom and the other is located between the dining and living area.
The outside yard has a stunning mountain view and faces west allowing for gorgeous sunsets and comfortable afternoons on the patio.
The entire unit has tiled floors with scatter rugs placed tastefully throughout the unit. The kitchen is complete with a refrigerator, oven, microwave and dishwasher. The dining room seats 4 people comfortably and the living room is furnished with elegant and comfortable leather furniture.
The garage is 5 steps away from the front door and comes with a remote control opener.
This home is sunny and spacious and very well maintained. It is well located with easy access to Interstate 10. It is ½ mile to the YMCA which has monthly memberships; 1 mile to the public library; 2 miles to NW Medical Center; 3 large grocery chains within 3 miles; Walgreens, CVS, LA Fitness & post office within 2 miles; Costco with gas about 4 miles. The townhome community itself is private & quiet.

We are a professional couple that currently resides in Calgary, Alberta, Canada with our cockapoo Izzy. We have two adult children that call Calgary home as well. They, their spouses and their children are pleased that Mom/Grandma and Dad/Grandpa have a place in Arizona! Our home away from home is named Tucson Hacienda. It’s a haven that takes us away from the hustle and bustle of Calgary and provides us with much needed rest, relaxation and reconnection.
Why they chose this property
We purchased this townhouse with the idea that it could be used as a place to stay when we visit our friends who also own property in the area, to enjoy a round of golf and to escape Calgary's winter weather, where we currently reside. Over the years we've made connections with the neighbours and the neighbourhood. It's a friendly, welcoming place to "hang". We also really enjoy sitting on our back deck, watching the sunset.

The view of the Santa Catalina Mountains, the desert ambiance and the proximity to the Omni Tucson National Resort (selected as one of Golf Digest's "75 Best Golf Resorts in North America" that boasts two distinctly different 18 hole courses) combine to capture the essence of Tucson. From our Tucson Hacienda, we back onto 131 miles of biking trails, you are a short drive away from the heart of the city, or spectacular hiking trails and everything in between! We have filled the home with amenities to ensure that there is a high level of comfort, and that you may spoil yourself, or friends, with the various sources of entertainment and luxuries provided. To create a ‘homey’ and appropriate atmosphere for its location, you will notice the south western decorative flavour throughout the unit.
