Relax and watch the White River flow by from the deck of this A-frame home in Lakeview, Arkansas. Situated between Bull Shoals State Park and Gaston's restort, White Star offers upscale accommodations, plus the enjoyment of trout fishing in one of the most desired areas of the river.

Perfect for family vacations, fishing trips, family reunions, corporate retreats, honeymoons or simply a quiet get-away.
Relax and watch the White River flow by from the deck of this A-frame home in Lakeview, Arkansas. White Star offers excellent accommodations.

Outside, Relax on the large deck or one of the patios facing the river. This amazing property offers spacious grounds ideal for activities, entertaining, or simply enjoying the peaceful surroundings. We have a charcoal and gas grill for your favorite cook-outs.

Laundry facilities are in both dwellings.

White Star is a smoke-free and pet free environment.

The main house features 2 large bedrooms, one with 2 queen size beds and 2 baths, kitchen with dishwasher and a loverly great room furnished to make your stay a comfortable one, including a TV and DVD player. The bookshelves hold a library of movies and books for your evening's entertainment.
A guest house next door has a large bedroom with 2 queen size beds, full bath, a living area with a sofa bed and small kitchen. Attached is a rec room complete with a large HD TV and round game table.

Great Retreat!

This was a reunion for our immediate family to celebrate our Grandmother's 90th Birthday. We loved the location and the property accommodations were perfect! We had a peaceful week on the White River!

A-frame on the White River

Great view of the White River and less than a mile from Gaston’s Restaurant. Property comes with a separate cabin for the ones that need extra space or privacy. Beautiful area about 2-1/2 miles from Bull Shoals Lake Boat Dock.

Perfect Getaway Along the White River

Property is perfect for relaxing along the White River and close to Gaston’s Resort. The house was furnished with all utensils for a great cookout too. I can’t tell you if the TVs worked because we did not even try to turn them on during our (4) night stay! We will be back.

Tornado weekend.

The main house was very comfortable and it is stocked with everything,extremely clean and accommodating. The garage aka “the bar” was used more than anything else lol we had an amazing experience and will stay there again. The owner is a very nice person and very friendly.

Great space on the river

We go to the White River approximately 5-6 times per year for a quick trout fishing trip. My son joined us this time. Because of the addition behind the garage we had the opportunity to spread out and everyone had a space of their own . If you are a small group you will enjoy this place.

Nostalgia Feel for Relaxing Weekend

Overall, it was a memorable stay for the family. The old school or nostalgia of the home and decor was something to observe and talk about. The gaming room provided a lot of entertainment for the family with card games. The biggest appeal was the landscaping, right near the water, enjoying the scenery and quiet environment while making smores…..again, a memorable trip. Location is prime, being near the damn for outings with the family, close to Gaston’s for a great meal, and easy to watch deer walking around any time of the day.

Vacation in Lakeview

Overall the experience was wonderful and the property was amazing. The view of the white river, the fire pit. Everything we needed and more. My adult children and my grandchildren all loved it. It was a phenomenal experience. Will book with this property owner again. My kids loved the 2 house on one property. My daughter and her husband and 4 girls stayed in the other house to give them additional privacy.

Great river retreat

My family and I stayed at this property for a long weekend and enjoyed every minute of it, brought our fishing boat and was able to put in just a few minutes upstream, had a great time, a lot of fish and the property was just as described very clean and enjoyable very well stocked we definitely appreciate the stay and we will see you back in October

Wonderful home

We had a great time at Bill's home. It was perfect for our family get together to celebrate my dad's 80th birthday. Indoors and outdoors was perfect. We enjoyed sitting outside in the mornings. The guest house was perfect for the crew who liked to stay up later too. Wonderful vacation home. Can't wait to return.

The Stafford family has been in Arkansas for 40 years. They purchased the property in 2003 and have made improvements every year. Until recently the property was mainly used for relatives and friends. Now we want others to be able to enjoy this great property.

Why they chose this property

The area is absolutely beautiful having several lakes and rivers. There are many recreational activities in the area. The whole environment is very relaxing.

What makes this property unique

The property sits on Cane Island shoals, one of the best fishing spots on the white river. We have great local dining and are close to Bull Shoals lake and dam.
