Piece of Paradise
Wonderful lodge with stunning views.
Beautiful town of Kaslo is only a few minutes away.
Karl , Inga and their lovely family are the most perfect welcoming hosts and can’t do enough to make your stay memorable.
They are very helpful and knowledgable about the local area too.
If you are looking for peace , tranquility and an escape from it all - this is the place!
The lodge is large, beautifully equipped with everything you can possibly need and the view from the deck is stunning .
A minutes walk to the beach, where you kayak , swim ,fish or just sit and enjoy the peaceful view.
Kaslo with its great restaurants and quaint shops is a few minutes away - but most nights we were reluctant to move away from the lake shore and the beautiful lodge.
We came from the UK, our first time in Canada and were sad to leave .
My son only had one complaint - And that was that I should have booked two weeks here instead of one !
We have travelled all over the world and this has to be one of the best places we have ever stayed .
I was here with my 17 year old son and it’s a perfect place for couples , families with young or older children.
Anyone of any age could not fail to appreciate the beauty of the place and warm welcome from Karl and Inga who are only too happy to share their piece of Paradise with you.
More than just a holiday , it gave us memories we will never forget. The deer in the woods, fishing for trout , the bald eagles with their chick ( Edward spotted the nest)
Just watching the sunrise and set on the water- absolutely beautiful .
Would not hesitate to strongly recommend this beautiful place and hope to return soon.
