It was lovely, quiet, well appointed, with special touches. Beautiful views, tucked in the trees nicely. Not far from town without feeling you're in it. We really enjoyed our stay.
This is our second time staying here and we will definitely be back for a third. Very warm welcoming space and the bed is super comfy. The views are great and it is very quiet.
We had a wonderful stay! Meleana was an excellent host. With the wildfires in BC, she kept us updated on the smoke conditions every day or two leading up to our stay, which we really appreciated. The property is in a great location, close to Kaslo, waterfalls, the beach and the hot springs. We really enjoyed out time there.
A charming, nicely decorated cottage with a wonderful and private outdoor space plus kind and helpful hosts made my stay with my dog perfect. The views of the mountains from the deck were great, and the property had lovely views of the surrounding forest out of every window. The provision of dog waste bags was appreciated, and there was plenty of room for my dog to relax and enjoy. We are already making plans to return!
We spent a fantastic 3 nights at Cedar Cottage. The cottage was super clean, comfortable, well stocked, and with great views. It was very quiet and close to town. Meleana was very helpful with suggestions for biking and beaches. I don't have any negatives or suggestions for improvement!
My boyfriend and I enjoyed a few days of R&R at the cedar cottage - location was great (beautiful views!) and Meleana was so friendly and very responsive. Definitely would stay here again!

This was a lovely space with easy parking and friendly visit from the owners dog.
Unfortunately we were only able to stay for one night at the cottage but we found the stay very relaxing. Cottage is easy to access but still somewhat secluded. Watching the sun come up above the mountains in the morning was spectacular.
