Larger shopping options, including a stroll through town and almost all discount stores, are in Ribnitz.

Around the Bodden, there are attractions such as the Marlow Bird Park, Karlshof, the Kückenshagen Open-Air Museum, the monastery, the Amber Museum, and the water ski facility in Körkwitz—not to mention that Rostock and Stralsund are nearby.
