Welcome to “Ferienhaus Dünen Hus,” your cosy holiday home nestled among the beautiful village dunes of the island of Wangerooge. The holiday home accommodates up to 6 people and is ideal for families, couples, and those seeking peace and quiet who want to spend relaxing days by the sea (preferably 4 adults and 2 children). Enjoy a restful getaway with us, combining comfort and North Sea charm—in a beautiful, central location close to the beach!

The holiday home was renovated in 2025 and refurnished with charming Scandinavian-inspired decor. The spacious 100 m² of living space, featuring a private terrace and balcony, spans three floors (ground floor, ground floor, and attic) and includes a living room, kitchen, and three separate bedrooms. This provides opportunities for both spending time together and enjoying some peaceful privacy.

In the bright living room (ground floor), you’ll find a tasteful arrangement featuring a sofa area with a modern smart TV and a long dining table. So after a bike ride or a day at the beach, you can sit together comfortably, watch films, or enjoy your meals and chat. Delicious snacks for your outing or evening meals can be whipped up quickly and easily in the separate, fully equipped kitchen—which includes a stove, oven, and microwave. The dishwasher takes care of the dishes for you. Coffee connoisseurs can choose between a classic coffee maker, a MoccaMaster, and a Nespresso machine.

When the sun sets on Wangerooge, three separate bedrooms invite you to sleep in and relax. The two bedrooms on the upper floor are furnished with a double bed (2 m x 1.80 m) and two single beds (2 m x 0.90 m), respectively, which are ideal for children thanks to their fall protection. The bedroom in the attic features another double bed (2 m x 1.80 m). You can store your holiday wardrobe in the spacious closets.

Two full-sized bathrooms with natural light offer pleasant spaces to unwind. In the bathroom with a shower (ground floor), you can freshen up; in the bathroom with a bathtub (top floor), you can unwind in peace. The guest bathroom on the ground floor makes your daily bathroom routines more convenient.

The invigorating North Sea air is included when you book our holiday home: a terrace (ground floor) and a balcony (upper floor), both furnished with comfortable outdoor furniture, invite you to relax. Reading a good book in peace, daydreaming your way through the day, or winding down the evening with a glass of wine is a wonderful holiday experience. You’re also welcome to use the gas grill at the barbecue area.

For our youngest guests, a high chair, a cot, and outlet covers (partial coverage) are standard features, as are some children’s toys and sand toys.

Additional amenities such as free Wi-Fi and underfloor heating ensure extra comfort.

General Information: This accommodation is the entire “Dünen Hus” with three separate bedrooms. If you’re travelling with only 4 people, our smaller version of the Dünen Hus—with one fewer bedroom—is ideal. To find it, simply enter the number 700023a in the search function on our website (magnifying glass icon). A washing machine is available in the bathroom. The fireplace is not in use. This is a non-smoking property. Pets are not allowed; we appreciate your understanding.

Soothing tranquility, fresh North Sea air, and warming rays of sunshine—a holiday on Wangerooge is pure relaxation! Here you can unwind, take a deep breath, and forget all the stress of everyday life.

The “Ferienhäuser Jadehörn” are located in a very beautiful, quiet, yet central spot by the village dunes. The beautiful main beach and the charming village centre with shops and restaurants are just a short walk away (about 6 min.). A perfect blend of relaxation and activity awaits you: On the fine-sand beach, cosy beach chairs invite you to unwind; at the same time, there’s a wide range of sports activities (sailing, surfing, beach volleyball, etc.). In the nearby idyllic village centre, you can't only stroll leisurely through the small shops but also enjoy relaxing breaks in one of the cafés and restaurants—often even with a view of the sea!

With numerous sports activities and events, as well as the island cinema, the “Oase” water park, and a golf course, Wangerooge offers a varied holiday programme.
