Truly a wonderful home for family gatherings on your own private beach. Its 3800 square feet on over an acre of land provides ample space for family activities in its large living and dining areas while the loft and study provide getaway locations for quiet contemplation or children's play. All have a spectacular view, particularly at sunset, of the bay and Provincetown harbor in the distance. One of the few places on the East Coast where the sun sets on ocean waters. The kitchen has ample room and facilities for preparing meals and snacks for large numbers. The separate master bedroom suite with its king bed has a large bathroom, large closets, and a studio alcove for kids. The 'guest' wing has two bedrooms, each with a queen bed, and a full bathroom. There's a recently-renovated bedroom downstairs with ensuite. Daybeds in the loft, and a fold-out sofa in the study provide additional sleeping locations. Wireless internet access is available throughout the house. If you need to work while away, enjoy the ocean-facing study, with printer, 30 inch monitor, keyboard, and everything you'll need to be productive.

Enjoy the extra features of wide pine plank flooring, vaulted ceilings, and multiple beach front decks.

Swim on the private beach, go for a paddle on the stand-up paddle board, take out the (inflatable) kayak, run on the treadmill, or enjoy playing tennis at the association tennis court, two minutes walk away. And your kids will love the swing set we just added, too.

Wonderful sunsets

The house had plenty of room for everyone if they wanted to find a quiet place to enjoy the view. The sunsets were amazing from the multiple decks overlooking the bay. We hope to rent again depending on my sister’s health.

Great for Families

We were traveling with another family and the layout of Betsey's house was perfect for all of us to have our own space. The views are beautiful and it is a 2 minute walk to the stairs to the ocean and private beach. the stairs are right next to Betsey's property. The beach was beautiful. we all enjoyed our stay and Betsey and her father were very responsive when we had any questions.

A magical location

We absolutely loved our stay! The location is out of the dreams - perfectly situated right on a gorgeous secluded beach. The house is extremely spacious with absolutely everything you could think of necessary for a comfortable short or long stay. Our son loved playing with the toys at the house and all the beach toys available for use as well. The communication was quick and easy. We would love to come back whenever we plan on a Cape Cod vacation again!

A dream come true

This home… and I say home because there is not one spot on this entire property that doesn’t yell thoughtful and cozy…. Was an absolute dream! These photos do not do this place justice. Much needed family getaway

This home, location and all of its amenities were more than we could have hoped for. Absolutely beautiful views out every window. Plenty of space for the whole family including two young grandbabies and two young dogs. We spent most days on our private stretch of beach, and evenings around the large dining table(s) inside or out. The house was equipped with everything you could possibly want or need on vacation including pac n plays and a high chair for the baby, paddle board and kayaks for the big ‘kids’. A dream vacation - can’t wait to go back!

Heaven in Truro

I have been renting vacation homes on Cape Cod for decades from Orleans to Truro and while many have been charming and convenient to the beach, none can compare to the house in Truro for location, household comfort and abundance of amenities. The kitchen is the best equipped room in the house with multiple coffee makers; espresso, drip and perk, wine refrigerator, two sinks, dinner ware for a large group, shiny new silverware and knives to spoil a chef. Our party of six each had superb space for both camaraderie and/or privacy with four bedrooms, a loft bedroom and a den plus numerous decks and the beach. I would recommend this rental for families with children or several couples or a group of friends as it will work beautifully for any of them. Truly a great property in Truro.

Probably the best house I’ve ever rented

Up on its bluff, with sweeping views of the sea, it was inviting, clean and bright, and the three generations of our extended family settled in happily right away. The main living area, with its huge windows and rockers, was nicely integrated with the kitchen and dining areas; perfect for when a bunch of us were inside doing different things. Every bedroom had what it needed. There was plenty of hot water; the heat pumps worked; the wifi was good, and never went down. The landscaping around the house was a pleasure as well, offering nice surprises like a hidden playhouse and swings for the kids. From bikes to paddle boards, umbrellas and beach chairs, it was all there, and in good shape. The thoughtfulness and generosity of the owners was evident throughout our entire stay, and we were grateful for it.

Fantastic Vacation Home

This was by far one of the best properties we have ever had a chance to experience. The house is spacious and spread out in a way that is excellent for families travelling together. The kitchen had everything you could ever imagine needing for cooking and the game room and toys were wonderful for our 12 year old son and my 1 year old niece alike. The views-from every room and the decks of the whole bay were stunning. The house is beautifully decorated but feels warm and inviting and the access to the private beach through the gardens and dunes made us really never want to leave. The location so close to the National Seashore ocean beaches and Provincetown made it convenient when we did venture out and the bikes and kayaks available added some adventurous fun. We loved long walks on the beach with our dog and watching the sunset and the stars from the deck. We are trying to find a way to return here -despite living in a different part of the country-it was worth traveling for 2 days to get here!

Perfect Week for a Work Weary Family

We have traveled as a family for several years for a week in October. We travel with our fur family because they are such important members of our family. This home is truly the best we have stayed in for many reasons. The entire home was spotless when we moved in. We loved the layout of the house because it provided a separate wing for each group in our family. Someday, hopefully, we will return with grandchildren because the house has the perfect accommodations for small children. The kitchen was stocked with every tool, appliance, pan, and serving dish that you could possibly need. The view is spectacular and the beach access was so easy for our dogs to romp in pure joy every day. We loved being able to play music throughout the house and took advantage of the game cabinet on one rainy day, playing games and working on completing puzzles as a group. We have all agreed that we will return one day because we LOVE this home!

Magical Location!

The serenity this location provided was truly magical! One of our favorite vacations as a family! Panoramic views of the bay and walk to your own private beach - honestly we couldn't get enough and yearned to stay longer! The sunsets were spectacular...walking throughout the scenic neighborhood and beach all amazing - so many gorgeous areas and paths to discover. The home itself was well designed, comfortable and can fit large families especially with little ones (many smaller beds that we did not use). We were a family of 5 - 3 older children and my husband and I and the space was perfect - enough extra space for all of us to spread about or congregate when we wished. Fantastic areas for remote work as well with views from every room! There was every beach toy imaginable for us to use, and the kitchen was stocked with as many tools as one needs! Multiple outdoor areas to sit and lounge and grill and gather. Communication with the owner was phenomenal. We are trying to figure out our schedule to come back to experience this one of a kind property again! Just WOW!

Fantastic Vacation in Truro Beachside

The pictures and description on VRBO dod not do Betsey's property justice. This is a phenomenal house with plenty of sleeping space, great size common areas and just beautiful decorations. We especially enjoyed all of the large picture windows and many deck levels to watch the beach during morning coffee and evening drinks. The kitchen is well stocked and you really don't need to bring anything except for your groceries and favorite beverages. You take a private path from the house down to the beach stairs and you are there. The beach is extremely private and a great place to relax. Betsey has so many water toys, bikes, beach chairs and umbrellas. We brought all of this ourselves and will save ourselves the hastle next vacation. There is great proximity to great restaurants, grocery stores and shopping. My favorite is less than 2-miles away called Salty's. They have great breakfast and lunch sandwiches, pastries, bagels and donuts. It is a very boutique like general store with a very great selection. P-Town is minutes away for their options. Our favorite was Wellfleet where there were great resturants and shopping and was a little more low key. This was our first time vacationing on the Cape and this was a great experience. We have for years gone to Montauk, LI but this is a close competitor. I highly recommend this property and Betsey's dad Gordon was available to answer any questions promptly. Head to Kestrel Lane, it will not disappoint.

a perfect home for kids

This home of is absolutely stunning, with wraparound views of the bay that invite you to feel like you're on the beach every moment of the day. We visited with a 1.5 and 5 year-old and for the children the home was a place of wonder, astonishingly well-stocked with all manner of indoor and outdoor toys and games (both active and sedentary). This home had more than everything needed to deeply enjoy every day of our stay, regardless of weather.

Justin and Betsey's house was absolutely amazing. The view of the beach from the deck is breathtaking along with the beautiful home itself. Magnificent!

This home is truly magnificent. My husband and I stayed with our seven children, who were in heaven with all of the high quality toys and activities for kids of all ages. The panoramic views of the beach, Provincetown, and the stunning sunsets completed an absolutely memorable stay. The owners are kind and attentive, and the property is very well kept and clean. We felt as though we were in the middle of a nature reserve. We saw beautiful birds and even a fox. This is a very special and unique place. Thank you for allowing us to rent it!!

We are two professors who work in the midwest, but who enjoy the seaside for rest and relaxation while, at the same time, continuing our studies. One of us is from Australia and values swimming, surfing, and other beach activities. The other, an American, grew up as a military brat, and always enjoyed summers seeing relatives at the beach in New England. Our two young kids love visiting the beach house.

Why they chose this property

After spending two summers in Truro, we decided to choose this location as the place to which we could return year after year as our children grow up. We love the beach and the variety of activities we have throughout the area. An amazing place for quiet contemplation, as we're really quite secluded here.

What makes this property unique
