The house is large enough to accommodate a big family and has the potential to be great.The grounds are lovely and the pool is fantastic. However, the kitchen was disorganised and was missing a number of items such as a kettle but had an abundance of plates and glasses. The facilities were varied as we had an iron but no ironing board, one of the air conditioning units upstairs did not work, but a washing machine and dryer was provided. Our biggest issue was communication with the host. We had to prompt him for the address the evening before arrival and only at that point did he tell us that he wanted 500 security deposit but then did not respond to further messages from us to find out how he wanted the money, cash or card.Michel seemed like a nice man but simply did not return messages. At one point, the water went off, we messaged him and got no response. We ended up giving up on trying to communicate with him.

The house was lovely, the pool was clean and well maintained, the garden was tidy, and the view over the vineyards was beautiful.The 3 bedrooms downstairs have an air con unit outside which kept them cool in the heat. Lovely rooms and comfortable beds.The 4th bedroom is upstairs and has the pool table in it. Sadly, the air con unit for this room doesn't work so we weren't able to use it as in the middle of summer as it was far too hot.There is everything you could think of provided for the kitchen, towels, and bed linen. (Sadly, this did leave very little room for clothes storage in the wardrobes.) You could easily feed 14 round the huge dining table!The pictures don't really do the house justice as it is spacious and airy. Sitting on the veranda was really relaxing; hardly any noise or traffic, just peace and quiet. And it was perfect for our 2 small dogs. The fully enclosed garden meant they could be free to go wherever they wanted.The local villages and towns are easily accessible by car and the roads are good.Sadly the WiFi was not working while we were there. With 2 teenagers and some work to do, it cost us a fortune in data :-(Michel doesn't speak English, but Google is a marvel for these situations! You will need a 500 Euro cash deposit, which is returned on leaving as long as you have cleaned.We had a lovely 2 weeks and with the air con upstairs and the Wifi working, it would have been perfect.

Posez vos valises et profitez !Séjour ensoleillé et reposant, Nous avons grandement apprécié notre séjour chez Michel : la quiétude des lieux, la fraicheur de la maison, la profondeur de la piscine, l'espace du jardin pour les chiens. Les commercants de Castelnau sont très sympathiques, mention spéciale à la boulangerie et au Coccimarket. Nombreux producteurs et cavistes à visiter.Beaucoup de lieux à voir, un coup de coeur pour le village Fourcès et le restaurant MontResto à Montréal du Gers.

Nous avons trouvé le repos et la quiétude que nous cherchions. Belle propriété, tout confort. Nous avons bien profité de la piscine et du coin barbecue et notre petit chien du terrain, entièrement clos et très bien entretenu. Le propriétaire est très bienveillant. Une belle personnalité, très attachante. Je recommande vivement, véhicule indispensable.

Wir hatten zwei tolle Wochen....großes Haus, großer, wunderschöner Garten, Riesenpool mi 1m Brett. Der Vermieter ist unglaublich freundlich...Danke für frische Melonen, Erdbeeren und Eier.. die Lage ist sehr ruhig, Einkäufe, Croissants am Morgen nur mit Auto möglich...völlig erholsamer, toller Urlaub ruhig

Excellent séjour en famille, à recommander !

Maison spacieuse, la climatisation est un vrai plus. Très belle piscine, nombreux équipements originaux (billard, sauna ...). Belle vue sur les vignes et la campagne. Vestiges Gallo-Romains à proximité. Michel, le propriétaire, est très accueillant et nous a régulièrement offert des fruits et légumes bio de son jardin. Merci !

Bon séjour

Location conforme en tous points à l'annonce. Très spacieuse et reste fraiche malgré la chaleur. La piscine est très agréable et son "coin plongeon" est un vrai bonheur. Sa taille permet également de pouvoir nager en toute tranquillité. Et merci à Michel pour ses paniers de produits frais. Bref, un bon séjour !

Excellent séjour

Très bon séjour au calme, magnifique vue sur les vignes et la campagne, très grands piscine très propre que nous avons tous apprécié, parents et ados! Maison très fonctionnelle et bien fraîche malgré la chaleur extérieure, ce qui fut appréciable. Merci beaucoup à Michel et son épouse pour leur accueil, le panier du jardin et le champagne qui nous attendait à l’arrivée !
