The house is located on a completely quiet cul-de-sac. In front of the property: the dike. Behind it: water. In between, plenty of space to unwind.

Living with a view of the water

The living room is the heart of the house. A maritime atmosphere, warm wooden furniture, a large, comfortable couch—and the view looks directly out onto the large garden and the canal. Here you can sit with a book, a glass of wine, or simply enjoy some quiet time.

From here, you can step out onto the small, covered terrace—perfect for long evenings, even when the weather is typical of northern Germany.
Upstairs, there’s also a balcony, ideal for your first cup of coffee in the morning.

The very large garden is open and unfenced—plenty of space, plenty of open air, plenty of peace and quiet.


Sleeping & Retreat – quiet, flexible, thoughtfully designed

The house features three bedrooms that adapt to your needs:
Master bedroom with a large double bed (180 cm, separate mattresses), built-in closet, and ambient lighting for restful nights.

The other bedroom has two single beds that can be pushed together or pulled apart, including nightstands with charging ports

An additional room with a 140 cm sofa bed and a quiet home office corner – ideal for combining work and relaxation



Kitchen & Bathrooms – Comfort that makes your holiday a breeze

The large, modern kitchen is fully equipped and perfect for cooking together:
Oven, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer, and a seating area for a quick coffee or long conversations.

The spacious, naturally lit bathroom features a shower, bathtub, and washing machine.
There’s also a separate guest bathroom with a window—a nice touch, especially when there are several people staying.

Location—a quiet place to live, with everything nearby

Despite the quiet location, you can easily reach many places on foot:
- a small boat harbour right behind the dike
- A restaurant and harbour grill just a few minutes away
- A supermarket, as well as a home goods and garden store, within walking distance
- A post office, bank branch, pharmacy, and another supermarket are all just a few minutes away

In town, you’ll find additional shopping options, a pharmacy, a post office, and doctors.

There are two parking spaces (one behind the other) available on the property.
Pets are not allowed—ideal for people with allergies.


Nature & Outings – Right on Your Doorstep

Start kilometer-long walks right from the house along the Elbe dike, passing the old ferry terminal with its historic ships and the Maritime Museum. Just set off, with no destination in mind and no time pressure.

For a change of pace, (day) trips are a great option:

- by ferry to Glückstadt
- to the Krautsand Peninsula with its long sandy beach
- to the seal sanctuary or on to St. Peter-Ording
- mudflat hikes to Neuwerk or boat trips to Helgoland
- historic Stade with plenty of shopping options
- Hamburg, an easily accessible day trip destination
