Holiday in a quiet location near the beach—well-equipped holiday rental with a west-facing balcony!

Your cosy holiday home, “Ferienwohnung Inselheimat B42,” is located in the “Holiday Residenz.” Situated on the quiet outskirts of the island town of Borkum, with a view of idyllic horse pastures, it’s perfect for dog lovers and families with babies or toddlers. In just a few minutes’ walk, you can reach both the town centre—with its numerous shops, restaurants, and cafés—and the expansive beach. During the season, you can get fresh breakfast rolls right at the complex.

This quiet and bright 2-room apartment on the mezzanine level measures 48 m² and features a small entryway with a coat closet, a living room with a dining area and kitchenette, a separate bedroom, and a bright, cheerful bathroom with natural light and a shower.

Snacks for your outing and delicious meals can be prepared quickly and easily in the functional kitchenette, which features a microwave and a 2-burner glass-ceramic stove. A coffee maker, electric kettle, egg cooker, and toaster are all included, as is a refrigerator with a freezer compartment. From the dining table, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the horse pastures. For relaxing moments on the sofa or in an armchair, the solid beech wall unit houses glasses, books, a TV, and a DVD player.

The living room opens onto the covered west-facing balcony, from which you have a magnificent view of the Old Lighthouse and the meadows. It’s perfect for sunbathing, reading, or simply relaxing.

The cosy bedroom features a double bed (1.80 x 2 m) with an open footboard, two nightstands, and a large wardrobe with a mirrored front. The bedroom and living room can be darkened with a curtain. For our younger guests, a cot and a high chair are part of the standard furnishings.

You’re welcome to bring your dog. A maximum of 2 medium-sized dogs are allowed (5 € per dog per night).

If the weather happens to be less than ideal, you’ll find reading material in the apartment, and in the complex’s basement there’s a ping-pong table as well as a playroom for children with a playhouse, mats, and a small slide.

Notes: Free Wi-Fi is available. Parking spaces are available at the house for your convenience. In the neighbouring house at 16b, there is a washing machine, a dryer, and a bicycle storage room. Please note that dogs are not allowed on beds or upholstered furniture and must not be left alone in the apartment.

Quiet and central!

Enjoy the best time of the year on the island of Borkum—with refreshing North Sea air, the glistening waves, and 100% relaxation! The “Holiday Residenz I” offers the perfect setting for a relaxing holiday. For leisure activities, the building features a ping-pong table and a playroom with a playhouse, mats, and a small slide.

The holiday apartments are located in the “Holiday Residenz I” complex. It’s centrally located on Richthofenstraße, yet quiet and not right in the heart of town. In the town centre itself (800 m away), small shops, cafés, and restaurants invite you to take a leisurely stroll. After 1.5 km (a 6-minute bike ride), you’ll reach the beautiful sandy beach and the boardwalk. From the complex, you can enjoy wonderful, relaxing walks and bike rides through Borkum’s natural surroundings.

From the ferry, the narrow-gauge train runs all the way to the town centre. From there, the apartments are still about 950 m away. Upon your arrival, taxis will be available to take you and your luggage to your holiday rental. The complex is easily accessible by car and offers parking spaces for cars and bicycles right in front of the building. In front of the complex is the Nabrotzky Island Bakery—perfect for fresh breakfast rolls. Free e-bike charging stations are available for holiday guests in the garage next to the bakery.
