Another highlight is the AktivCard, which gives you free access to over 150 activities in the Bavarian Forest. The Geyersberg holiday resort offers a wide range of activities for all ages: an observation tower, a climbing garden, a playground, parks, and numerous running and biking trails invite you to explore and stay active. During the winter months, a ski area and several cross-country ski trails are directly connected to the resort. The town of Freyung in the Bavarian Forest offers a wide range of leisure and recreational activities, including numerous restaurants, a cinema, a theatre, a thermal spa, and an outdoor swimming pool. Thanks to its central location, many of the region’s attractions are easily accessible by public transport. Highly recommended destinations include the treetop walk, summer toboggan runs, Mitterdorf (Junior Ski Circus), Hochficht, and the city of Passau. After an eventful day, enjoy our swimming pool with a sauna and a stunning panoramic view. The deposit is 100% of the nightly rate. Check-in is available between 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Check-out is between 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Keys will be handed over in person on site. Tourist tax: 3.00 euros per night for guests aged 16 and older; €1.50 per night for guests aged 6 through 15; children under 6 are exempt from the tourist tax. The city of Freyung is a member of the GUTi network (Guest Environmental Ticket), so you can use the guest card to ride many bus and train lines in the region for free. Pets are not allowed. A baby cot can be provided free of charge upon request.
