Lake Waging is the warmest lake in Upper Bavaria, making it a perfect destination for a beach holiday. Lake Chiemsee is a 20- to 30-minute drive away, and the historic city of Salzburg is 30 minutes away.
Waging am See is a paradise for cyclists with numerous signposted routes, including the popular Waginger See loop, which is approximately 18–30 km long. The region offers flat to gently rolling routes, ideal for leisure cyclists and e-bike riders. Highlights include the Chiemgau Delicacies Tour (45 km), the Mozart Bike Trail, and tours featuring Alpine panoramas. You can rent bicycles from local retailers. You’re welcome to store your bicycles in our garage, which is always locked overnight.
