The location is beautiful, the home has lots of fun features, and communication with the property manager easy. The challenges were that the property manager told me the day before that he needed to meet me at the property to let me in so I had to figure out what time I was arriving and I had to be there before the rest of my party. Though the listing described a heated pool, it was cold and dirty. When I asked, I was told it broke earlier and that I should have called. Why was I not notified and possibly the property discounted since we really wanted the pool. The hot tub is upstairs on a small deck that looks like it's going to collapse, and the water smelled dirty. When I shared all of this I was asked why I didn't notify them. I wonder why this wasn't handled befoe
Beautiful house and property. We stayed with a group of 5 couples, which worked perfectly with 5 bedrooms with attached baths. The house is huge, so there was a ton of space for all of us. The kitchen is well stocked. We loved all the games in the basement and watched a football game in the theater. James was welcoming and very responsive to anything we needed. Would highly recommend staying here!!
Large, lovely property. Excellent for a large group. 2nd time staying here.
Housekeeping could use some attention. Lots of lightbulbs out and dripping faucets.
Property manager is very accommodating.
Our group had a wonderful time at the property! The house and setting is gorgeous. Would highly recommend and hope we can book another stay in the future!
This property was very well located for doing wine tastings though out the valley. Lots of things to do at the house, just wish we had left more time to enjoy it.
Our family girls celebration was the best. Sisters, daughters and granddaughter. 10 in all. We had fun wine tasting, swimming, theatre room, sauna and hot tub. Of course the bikes and racquetball court were the best also! We will definitely look to visit again! I highly recommend this home!
The house was magnificent. I am not only an avid user of VRBO properties, I also rent out my own properties. The entire experience was truly flawless. The space and amenities were fantastic. As an avid chef, I was very impressed by the kitchen and the breadth of pots/pans, knives/implements and crockery/cutlery available. Also, although we did considerable shopping as we preferred to eat and drink wine at home, the initial stock of spices was a great help.
In my five-star evaluation above, the only thing I quibbled on was the accuracy of the description. I truly believe this property was undersold. I have rented villas in Italy, a baronial château in France, a modern cliffside residence in San Sebastian and this home gave them all a run for their money.
I would be amazed if anyone did not have a spectacular time.
Our family stayed 4 nights and the house was amazing. There was so much to do on the property (pool, hot tub, game room, theatre, indoor basketball court, etc.) It was perfect for all our teenagers. The house was so spacious and comfortable that we didn’t feel like we were on top of each other, even with 10 of us staying here. The grounds are lovely and it was so peaceful. Walking through the vineyards was a great way to stretch our legs. We are already talking about staying here again!
This house was perfect for our group of 11 adults. The game room was amazing and perfect for us to hang out in! We were close to a bunch of wineries. Highly recommend!
This was the perfect property to spend the weekend in wine country with friends and family! Incredible views, amazing amenities, great location, and lots of vineyards nearby! It may be hard to believe, but the villa is even more exquisite than the pictures represent... James met us upon arrival to give us a quick tour and was very kind and helpful with any questions that came up. We would 100% recommend this villa - everything was perfect!!
This place is perfect for a group trip to Willamette Valley. It is immaculately maintained and the concierge, James, is very helpful. They have everything you need to cook or host a large group. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there.
One thing to note is that one of the rooms, the "Master Bed" is really just a bonus room off of the 1st floor suite where they have added a bed. It's not really ideal for a separate couple.
The house was well kept but not quite as we expected. They did their best to make it right, and we were not in a position to consistently deal with things that would not be a massive deal to us on this trip. The hot tub, pool, and upstairs jetted tub did not work during our stay. The sound system throughout was also not in working order for us. The Large Master downstairs has no closet or a place to hang clothes, so we put what we could in drawers and drapped things over chairs. It wasn't worth it to track down hangers and use closets in the front foyer. It is a beautiful home. We had 10 adults in our group, which is hard to accommodate. The theater and downstairs game area were great fun at night. We enjoyed the valley, and the property manager did communicate and tried to make right what they could. It wasn't quite as we expected, but it was clean and well-stocked. They had fruits and cheese for us in the fridge and wine for us, which was a nice touch.
Twelve of us from Colorado stayed this house on our first Oregon wine trip to celebrate my wife's 65th Birthday and our 40th wedding anniversary. We couldn't have picked a better house to stay in.
Each couple had their own bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen was great and we had a chef come in one night to fix our dinner, which was fantastic. The house had plenty of room that even with of us we never felt cramped and had our own space. The grounds were great and every morning some of our group went walking through the property and roads amongst the gorgeous vineyards.
Heidi couldnt have been more helpful and was fantastic to work with. I highly recommend this house, just not when we go back!
It was a beautiful villa and we loved the location!
There was so much to do with in a 2 hour drive. We visited many beach towns and enjoyed short coastal hikes that included whale watching, viewing bald eagles , golden eagles, harbor seals etc. Discovered nearby towns and heard about all the great restaurants ( we cooked and ate at the villa every night including the crabs we caught on the beach). Visited a few wineries on our own however the best of all was having our own personal
(driver, chef and sommelier) spend a day with us! We explored the area during the days and then returned to the villa to swim, eat and enjoy a movie or game with the family.
Wonderful home for large party in great proximity to vineyards and restaurants
We had a party of 10 adults. Large bedrooms with ensuite baths, outdoor patio and 2nd level deck, great kitchen and game room was a perfect fit for us. We enjoyed walking around the vineyards at sunrise and sunset, and lounging at the pool after exploring the areas, wine tastings, and quaint small towns.
Our family of 6 stayed at this wonderful property for 5 nights in August 2021 to celebrate our daughter's 30th birthday. It was great. Each party had an en suite bathroom, the house was beautiful, the amenities were wonderful (swimming pool, spa, pool table, table shuffleboard, theater, etc.), and the owner made sure that our stay was great. It was well located close to the wineries we visited, we arranged for their recommended chef to come in to cook for us one night, which was delicious, and we were encouraged to harvest fruit and vegetables from the garden during our stay. It really could not have been a better experience.
We would very highly recommend this property!
Had a great stay at this property! Allen was very quick to respond to questions. Loved having access to his garden for fruits and veg. Weather was perfect for pool time and we even enjoyed the Sounders winning in the theater!!! Overall amazing stay for 10 of us and we were spread out!!! Hope to return!! Thanks again, Christy
The villa is spacious for our large group. Amazing vineyard view. Great pool and theater.

They are a very close family and get together throughout the year. Jill and Allen spend 3 to 4 months in Maui where they have lived part time for about 18 years. They travel extensively for their wine business, visiting their national markets in HA, NY, Florida, New Orleans, Alaska and Michigan, Atlanta and 3 new states. Allen grew up in Washington and Jill in California. Both are very active in their communities, McMinnville, Dundee and Newberg.
Why they chose this property
This is a unique property in that it is surrounded by vineyards and has views of the Valley and the Cascades with no subdivisions in sight. Very private yet close to everything you need. We were looking for property for a few years and then found this perfect location by chance as it was not listed at the time. It was 100% raw land and gave us the challenge and opportunity to create our own home, landscaping, vineyards and winery. Jill grew up in the country on a horse ranch/farm and Allen loves living on and off the land and large open spaces. As soon as we saw this property, we knew we had found what we were looking for.
What makes this property unique
The location of this rolling hills property in the heart of wine country, the beautiful spacious villa, pastoral, mountain and vineyard views, pool, hot tub sauna and the many amenities. Many comment they feel they are in Tuscany and are able to easily relax and take in the local attractions within 15 minutes. There is no comparable sight in the region as far as the size of the Villa and the tranquil privacy it offers. Leave the property and enjoy Oregon's many wineries and highly rated restaurant scene. Attend a downtown open market with local vendors showcasing their fruits, vegetables, cheeses, meats, art etc. Come home and BBQ by the pool, enjoying local wines or Oregon Brews and the local fare. Oregon is known for its amazing array of fresh produce and the berry scene is abundant! The children can safely walk to the blueberry patch and pick while you enjoy the evening by the pool and BBQ. There are fruit trees and fruit available for the picking when in season. You may just want to pick some fresh herbs to cook with from our garden or grab a tomato or two to go along with the fresh herbs. You can also help yourself to the fresh vegetables if they are ready to pick as well. We are only one hour from the Coast and one hour from Portland! Smack dab in the middle of wine country.
