Peaceful and idyllic Gite in the countryside

Wonderful Gite situated in the French countryside with a large fully enclosed garden which the dogs absolutely loved. Stayed for 2 nights and would happily stay again if in the area.

Our happy stay

We really enjoyed our stay, the garden was perfect for our children and dog to play in. The location is very quiet, but has easy connections to larger towns. The house is clean, well equipped and comfortable with a friendly welcome from the owner.

Excellent Quiet Cottage

The cottage was exactly as we had hoped. It was quiet and secluded but only a short drive away from local amenities and places to visit.

A well-equipped gite in a tranquil location

We had a good stay in Normandy although the weather was mostly overcast. Lisieux and Evreux are interesting towns to visit and La Dame Blanche is a small farm/zoo with farmyard animals which will appeal to small children. Chateau Beaumesnil is very close and worth a visit. The gite has a lot of kitchen equipment but strangely does not have a kettle or mugs for tea. The 2 bedrooms are a good size and the beds are comfortable. It is useful to have a washing machine but we did not use the dishwasher. There is plenty of hot water for a shower or bath. Each room has a radiator which can be turned on individually. The television has satellite channels (but none in English). There is an Intermarche at Bernay which is only 12km away. Overall it is a well-equipped cottage and is in a very peaceful area.
