Great Place to Unwind for Active Family

Just incredible! You are close enough to the action in Tamarindo that you can quickly walk to anything, but get to stay in your own private relaxed sanctuary. The place was just perfect for our active family of 5.

Holiday stay

Connie is a wonderful host. Extremely responsive and has a great property manager locally. The unit is quite spacious with a fantastic balcony off the living room. The close proximity to the beach and town of Tamarindo made it a great stay. I would highly recommend.

Tamarindo family vacation

We really enjoyed the apartment. It had everything we needed. It was a perfect amount of space for a family of 5. The location is great. It’s just a short walk to the quieter end of the beach and easy access to all Tamarindo has to offer. Antonio was very helpful and a pleasure to deal with.

Best place in Tamarindo!

Great condo in Tamarindo! Very clean, lots of space, huge patio, great pool and bbq area only a short walk away. We went during the rainy season and it didn't rain very much. Willberth the condo manager did a great job meeting up with us when we arrived to show us the property and provide keys. Will be back again for sure!

Our guests have been very helpful in communicating concerns, from uncomfortable twin mattresses which we replaced, to purchasing plastic cups for the pool area, a logical and helpful suggestion. Beautiful balcony and luxury condo

The 2nd floor balcony was luxurious, comfortable and lovely for our group of 6 to enjoy. The condo was spacious with separate bathrooms for each bedroom and excellent communal spaces. We loved our stay in Tamarindo! Thank you.

All ages getaway

Great experience. Manager was incredibly responsive when air conditioner broke. Unit is on the 2nd floor. Nice location but more like an 8-10 minute dirt road with 2 hills walk to the beach. Close to fun beaches and delicious restaurants. Listing says only 1 bathroom, but there are 3 full bathrooms.

Spectacular condo in fun, laid back beach town

Spacious and nearly new condo is ideally located just above town and beach. Lots of space to spread out between prive bed/bath areas, huge living/kitchen area and large outdoor patio. Nice pool area when you want a private break from the huge beach. Owner was very responsive and made logistics easy. Amazing strip of casual beachside restaurants and bars that take a full week to explore. Tons of activities within walking distance - surfing, fishing, horses, kayaking, etc. Short rides to zip lines, turtles, snorkeling, ATVs. Highly recommended.

Love the spaciousness of our condo, the town, Cafe Tico for coffee, and like you said, so many restaurants right on the beach, no high-risers, no obstructions to accessing the beach, warm water, viewing the surfers and boats. Playa Tamarindo is our favorite place to be as well. Walking that beach or enjoying a meal at one of the restaurants is one of the main forms of entertainment that is always amazing. My sons have confirmed,with their frequent getaways, that the right choice paid off. I’d have been totally bored with the other locations we fortunately walked away from. Great sunset view

This condo unit has a second floor balcony that faces the ocean and the sunsets. The entire place has comfortable beds & furniture and being on the second floor easy access via stairs or of course, the elevator. The unit could use some maintenance but nothing beyond cosmetic. The kitchen was well stocked with pans, plates, drinking glasses and cooking utensils. The host was very responsive and showed us that she cared about our experience.

This condo was the perfect size for the six of us. With three bedrooms and three bathrooms, we were never walking on top of each other. The kitchen was big enough to prepare meals (which we didn’t use as often as we should). However, the place we liked best was the balcony. We spent early mornings and evenings watching the monkeys and enjoying the breezes on the balcony. Although the beach was a little further than expected, we didn’t mind the walk— the condo was worth it. I also liked the safety of having it gated with a security guard. We would definitely stay here again.

Great condo for 2 couples or full family

Very impressed with the condo furnishings, layout and location. Our trip was 2 couples -- everyone was comfortable with big beds & bathrooms, and we could have brought more with the twin beds in the 3rd bedroom + pullout in the master. Very comfortable patio chairs and the permanent awning is perfect to keep it shaded (important) in the afternoon. Pool/gym area was nicer than I expected. Easy walk to the beach and town (mainly the N end). This was my first time to CR and between Tamarindo and La Perla condos, I'm not sure I could have made better choices. Great sunset views & the monkeys played in the nearby trees where we could watch from our 2nd floor patio in the evenings. Antonio is a valuable asset -- very attentive, knows everyone, and can coordinate whatever you need.

Beautiful place to stay

The condo is beautiful, and looked just like the photos. The unit was spacious and well appointed. It has all the creature comforts including Wifi, a big screen with Apple TV, and plenty of kitchen supplies. The location is convenient, just a few minute walk down the hill to the main street in front of Witches Rock Surf Camp. The property is safe and quiet at night. Antonio, the manager, was great resource. He was friendly and responsive. There were a few small mechanical issues with the unit that he promptly addressed. One small complaint- someone (probably another tenant) kept unplugging the golf cart we rented. Overall it was a fantastic stay.

Tamarindo Getaway was Great

Was in Tamarindo for a wedding, and this property was perfect. It was clean, well appointed, well managed, secure, and spacious. Decks from every room give you a look at the ocean and beautiful breezes. Inside, there is everything you need, whether you are there for a couple nights or a weeklong stay. There were a few minor mechanical issues that the owner is having addressed, but they were very minor and a fact of life in a country like Costa Rica. The only thing that could have made our stay better is if we had better understood the distance to the beach and other parts of town. It's not far and a relatively easy walk, but reserving a golf cart early would have been wise. I'll do that next time, and this condo will be perfect.

Great location and beautiful unit!

My family of five (three kids 14, 12 and 9) stayed here for 8 days. We had been to Costa Rica last year but stayed in the Playa Langosta beach. The kids love the surfing and boogie boarding at Tamarindo and we were lucky to find La Perla. It was very spacious and modern and we loved sitting on the deck listening to the monkeys in the morning and seeing the sunset at night. The kids really enjoyed the pool after a hot sunny and sandy day at the beach. We used the grill there once and it worked great. We rented boards daily at Iguana Surf which I highly recommend. We went on a river/estuary tour with a guy named George who walked the beach. Also goes by Jorge. Kids loved seeing the monkeys, iguanas, birds, and large crocs! Also spent a 1/2 day on Coyote Sportfishing. Unfortunately we didn't catch anything other than a nap but it was still nice to be out of the water. The restaurants were so close to La Perla and I would definitely go back to this unit. There was plenty of space for everyone and all the windows in the living/kitchen area was spectacular. My 1st CR trip

This place was perfect and just like the pictures.We had 4 adults and plenty of space to spread out. A large open concept kitchen and living room to enjoy. It has a well stocked kitchen which we used to cook breakfast and then walked into Tamarindo most nights for supper. We watch the amazing sunsets down on the beach and enjoyed walking around town and then back to the condo to conclude our evenings. The balcony was a favorite and a perfect to sit on and enjoy the view and the warm weather. The pool is a short walk and is very nice to hang out also. A nice barbecue area is at the pool which we didn’t use but is available to guest. Antonio was easy to communicate with, WhatsApp is the best form of communication, and came by to check on us and see if anything we needed. Condo was very clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again. We also used a private tour guide that can be found on instagram @ herson_segura03 and highly recommend. We did a tour to the waterfalls and it was great. He speaks fluent English and knows the area and people. He set everything up for us and then stayed with us the whole day. We definitely use him again. My first trip was great and hope to go back again soon.

Heaven!

Our flight to Liberia was so easy. We used Tamirindo Shuttle to and from the airport. They were very prompt. When we arrived at the condo it was better than the pictures. More than enough room. We met some of your permanent neighbors. (Lori and family) So nice and offered help if we needed it. The pool was refreshing. The two outdoor grills/kitchens by the pool were a nice feature if we wanted to cook but we chose to eat out. We enjoyed the monkeys in the trees every morning. They sounded like gorillas! haha The walk to the beach was just enough to help us work off the food and drinks. I would recommend zip lining to everyone. What a rush! There's so much to do we will have to come back. Thanks for welcoming us into your home and for all your help. A couple suggestions - plastic glasses that could be used at the pool/patio, egg crate type foam cushions for the twin beds (a little hard). Other than that, perfect! Sincerely, Heidi

I have already purchased the plastic glasses as you suggested for the pool area. I like the plastic ones better than the glass even in the condo. The twin mattresses and other furniture were purchased from the highest end furniture store in Escazu who bragged about how great they were However we took your suggestion seriously and purchased 2 New Pillow Top Twin mattresses . Great facility. Good location. Issues were dealt with promptly.

This is definitely one of the nicest condos we've ever rented. The layout and furnishings are nearly perfect. The gym was nothing fancy, but adequate for our needs. The pool was incredible, and never had more than one or two other families there at any given time. The other condo dwellers were extremely friendly, as were all the security personnel. Antonio is AWESOME. He was friendly, courteous, informative....and extremely helpful. Very good person to have around. We did have a problem with the air conditioning the first day/night, since only half the condo was being cooled. It was warm, but not too uncomfortable. We talked to Antonio the next morning and he said he'd get someone to look at it the following evening. Unfortunately, the air quit completely later that same day and we had a miserable night, with little sleep. All was fixed the next day - as promised - and the rest of the week in the condo was perfect! This was our second trip to Tamarindo, and the town itself was just as great as last time. We had an easy walk to the beach, and it's just slightly more difficult coming back (uphill vs downhill). Grocery store is close, prices (on most things) are reasonable. I'm looking forward to staying here again the next time we vacation in Tamarindo, and would not hesitate to recommend it to my family and friends.

Ideal way to spend a vacation in Tamarindo

Tamarindo is an excellent destination for those looking for warm weather, beaches, vibrant culture, great food and lots of fun. The location of this condo is excellent. It's tucked right behind "main street" so you're a mere 5 minute walk to the action, but far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet. The condo itself is spacious, new, modern and clean. It provided more than enough room and amenities for a family of 4. The added bonus was the often frequented main balcony which overlooked the Pacific Ocean, the sunset, many species of birds and the occasional family of howler monkeys. There is also a separate building on the property that houses a pool, fitness centre, BBQ and lounging area. The roof of the fitness centre also provided an amazing view of the sunset. Antonio (property manager) was most accommodating and friendly. After we made initial contact before arriving, he was there to greet us and made regular texts to check in. He was also instrumental in finding us a tour that turned out to be one of our most memorable days. The property owners also made contact before and during our trip to make sure we were comfortable. We would recommend this property to anyone considering a sun destination. Life in Tamarindo is easy going. The main street is a long line of surf shops, restaurants, coffee houses, hotels and shops. There are grocery stores on the main street, or you can walk 10-15 minutes to the Auto Mercado for a larger selection of groceries and other necessities. If daily beach life begins to get tedious, there are numerous opportunities to get out of town and experience any number of tours. We have no regrets about our time at this condo and our time experiencing the "Pura Vida" of Costa Rica.

Stayed seven nights. Pros: Bright, airy, and spacious. Very comfortable beds. Kitchen was excellent. Washer & dryer. Safe and quiet. Beautiful grounds. Nice gym, pool, and BBQ area. Enjoyed the sunsets and howler monkeys from the balcony. Good location, except see below. Cons: Condo needs maintenance and upkeep. Texture peeling off walls, cabinet trim falling off, a doorknob falling off. Nightstand lamp broken and stored in closet. Cleanliness issues. Buildup on glass shower enclosure and tile in master and hairball from another guest still in shower. Manager sent a maid and she still did not clean the hair. Other guests' hair had been moped into the bathroom floor. White water stains on refrigerator door. Refrigerator water filter indicator light flashing. The couch had large gross, stains down the side. I notified property manager and owner. The manager was difficult to reach and slow to respond. By the time he responded, I usually had fixed the problem. I called the owner who was polite and responsive about the WiFi being out. If the cleanliness and manager responsiveness issues are resolved, I highly recommend staying here. Expedia advertises the property as a 1-minute walk from the beach. It is NOT. It is 500M and a 5-7-minute hilly walk, which was fine but it should not be advertised as a 1-minute walk. There are multiple units for rent in this complex. Awesome Place

This place was awesome. The condo was super clean and comfy. It has a big jacuzzi that's perfect after a long day having fun. The beach is walking distance, it's not beachfront but the walk is not long at all, I would say 7-10 minutes. All that being said, I would definitely book this place again!
