Completely renovated and beautifully furnished! This lovely 2BR-1BA Pilot House condo is located on Baytowne Wharf Boulevard in The Resort! With two bedrooms, a fully stocked kitchen, a family area, and one full bathroom, this property will comfortably accommodate up to six guests.
Our stylish family room is tastefully designed with comfort in mind, and features plenty of seating for everyone, a large HDTV, and a sleeper sofa plus complimentary WIFI. The fully stocked kitchen provides all the dishes, cookware and gadgets you will need to prepare a meal for guests. There is dining seating for six guests and kitchen bar seating for two. Our master bedroom features a king Tempurpedic mattress and an HDTV. The guest bedroom offers a queen bed and an HDTV. For a quiet place to relax, step outside onto the back patio and enjoy a tropical view of the private courtyard. Fresh linens are provided, but please bring beach towels. No pets.
You will enjoy the remarkable tropical swimming pool complex! There is a lagoon style swimming pool, hot tub, cold tub, children's pool and grilling area. A full exercise room is available to our guests at no charge, and there is an outdoor fireplace with rocking chairs - so go ahead and relax! Our condo at Pilot House at the Baytowne Wharf is truly the perfect choice for an enjoyable vacation!
The Baytowne Wharf is a delight! Walk to world class restaurants, boutique shopping, and a variety of family-friendly activities such as a zip line, bungee-trampoline jumping, evening entertainment, a carousel, rock climbing wall, a kids playground area and remote controlled boats. There are often 'movies on the lawn', art displays, festivals, and special events held at the Baytowne Wharf which is the heartbeat of the Resort. Fireworks are a weekly treat during summer time.
The beach is one of the most beautiful in the world. Resort guests can access the beach on the boardwalk next to the Elephant Walk Restaurant. There is a miniature golf course in the Resort, and adults can enjoy golf on three different resort golf courses. Be our guest and enjoy convenience to the beach and the Baytowne Wharf – all in one location, along with world class accommodations!
CANCELLATION: Reservations that are cancelled more than 30 days prior to the arrival date receive a full refund. Reservations cancelled 14-29 days prior to arrival receive a refund of 50% of the amount paid. Reservations cancelled within 14 days of arrival receive no refund unless the guest purchased travel insurance. Guests are required to complete a rental agreement by electronic signature within 3 days of booking.

Beach getaway to relax at the pool and beach.We enjoyed our stay. Instructions were very helpful. Easy to check in and out with no stress. Parking was limited.
We loved being so close to Baytown Wharf. Easily accessible to all attractions and the beach. We ended up opting to drive to Grayton State Park due to the beach near SanDestin being very busy but overall great stay with lots to do nearby! Multiple Amazing Pools and Hot Tubs to use on property as well.
We enjoyed our stay here. It was super convenient and clean; will definitely book again!

Great option for adults and teens. Thoroughly enjoyed having the Wharf steps away from our condo.
Beach is across the highway but free shuttle took us back and forth.

This unit was very nice. As pictured in the photos. It was an easy walk to Baytowne Wharf. It was only a couple minute drive to the other side of the resort to the beach. The only issue we found was the AC did not get as cold as we would have liked.

We really enjoyed our vacation. The biggest issue was getting off the plane Thursday morning to rain,thunder and lightening which continued all day with spells of torrential rain. This place was perfect for our family of 4 (two parents, two teenage boys). We've stayed at Sandestin before, but we rented a house last time. Staying onsite where all the shops and restaurants are seconds outside your front door was what we were looking for, and this unit and location checked that box. It was like having an extended "living room".We were pleased with the furnishings, and anything else we needed could be purchased at the general store that was about a 30 second walk outside the unit. Even though you are close to the action, and we were there during busy Memorial weekend festivities, it wasn't noisy at all.During the week, wait times at all the restaurants was much lighter than during the busy holiday weekend.The one thing to be cognizant of is the unit only has one bathroom, but it worked fine for us.
Staff worked hard to make our experience enjoyable. At check in we were relocated to a different room that was nice but not the first floor we had booked due to maintenance issues. New room had a door that would not lock and handle that did not work, but rental staff and maintenance crew worked hard to resolve the issue successfully. Staff made the experience wonderful. We would use this company again.

Lovely furnishings, although it’s long past time to replace carpet at the entrance area - makes a terrible first impression. On that note, SECURITY — The day we arrived, a stranger was able to enter our unit, as I was fresh from the shower, this was especially disturbing - good thing it was another woman just looking for her friend. Shudder to think what might have happened if the someone had ill intent!

Thank you for your comments. Beach Blue is proactive where security is concerned. All of our properties are equipped with an electronic front door lock that automatically locks itself when closed, and can only be accessed with the unique door code provided to the guest. However, this property has sliding glass doors that open to a private patio. If the guest left the sliding glass doors unlocked, someone could have walked in. The unit is secure unless a guest leaves the slider doors unlocked. We hope to see you at the beach!

Great location, perfect for a small family
Things I love, location, decor, has basic needs, and amenities. Things that need work, pots and pans were dirty, rusty, and need to be replaced, listing said it had a keurig but did not, just so you dont buy the wrong kind of coffee like I did. Still worked though, lamp light only in bedrooms and don’t put fans on high. Dishwasher lock is broken, held on with tape. Found a couple roaches. But it was overall clean upon arrival. Handle to bath broken. My fav part was the patio in the morning…

We was unable to stay at property due to roach infestation. We were in touch with Noel from beach blue property and he had us moved to another property. Absolutely unacceptable for guest to arrive with bugs crawling everywhere. There is no way I would recommend this unit to anyone. Very unpleasant. Neil from beach blue deserves an award for being so kind and helpful. He is an amazing Employee. Thank you again Neil for being so kind.

I have stayed at Baytown Warf two other times, and have had great experiences. This unit was not clean at all, and smelled. Their was still sand on the floor, the floor was not cleaned, barely swept. None of the beds came with an actual blanket, it was a very very thin blanket that was comparable to a bed sheet. Their were also no linens for the pull out couch. One of the towels had brown stains on it. The dryer vent was so full it was hard to clear it out. It was very disappointing. The ice machine in the building did not work at all.

Worst VRBO ever!
Dirtiest VRBO I’ve ever stayed in. Floors were extremely dirty. My feet were black after walking around barefoot. Pullout couch mattress pad had food and gross stains on it. Blanket for pullout couch was stained. White couch was very dirty. Glasses in cupboards were dirty.
King bed was hard, basically a thin foam pad and pillows were horrible.
They basically did the minimum to make this place half presentable. For the price I’d stay at the Hilton 5 minutes away and Uber to all the Baytown Wharf activities which were exceptional.
The only good thing about this place is location.

1st the good: pretty unit, nicely decorated with perfect access to the warf for activities and dinner, great pool, tram stop immediately out front to the beach. 1st floor is great. The Bad: small unit. It superficially is nice, but needs repairs. Smaller second bedroom, fan turned on, made insane sound like it would fall off the ceiling so couldnt use. TV in that room had no connection. Single bathroom toilet ran constantly, and wobbles when you sit down. Zero storage space for food or clothing. We left all food scattered on the counters, and only put kids clothes in tiny drawers. And they arent kidding when they say ONLY starter supplies. ONE roll of TP, One dish pod etc. 5 towels.

We had a wonderful time at The Pilot House. We had stayed in Sandestin before and loved the area. This location was even better considering we were right at the Wharf. There is so much to do there, and the activities that are planned almost daily was an added bonus! The actual rental was beautiful! It accommodated our family of 5 perfectly. The outdoor space was very nice too, and with this particular location being on the bottom level of the complex we were pretty lucky. I wish we had known a little more about the tram system before hand- we really just knew there was one available to get us to the Beach. We had to ask another person about it. The Tram picks up right outside the coffee shop, and there are different colors. Red is the direct Beach route- it is a nice feature, but it still took longer than we wanted. There is parking outside of the reserved parking. We opted for that the rest of the week after taking the tram once. Only other issue we had was the dryer wasn’t working so I left with a suitcase full of damp clothes, but aside from this our week was perfect!!

The HOA was in the process of maintenance (painting exterior) and we only we received a weeks notice (no option to cancel stay for a full refund) before our arrival that we should expect tools, equipment and workers to be in the area of our patio. Combing the noise of the maintenance crew and annual fire alarm inspections (~9:00) each morning of our stay it is safe to say we would have been able to relax better at home. My recommendation is to contact the rental company and verify before booking that the area is no longer experiencing ANY maintenance. The response from the rental company on these issues was that the stay was already discontinued to reflect the inconvenience, but they would credit my account $100 or refund the rest of my stay. If able to find a comparable place to stay this would have been a great option.On condition of the unit, it was not clean and needed attention (mold/mildew in bathroom) and master bedroom sheets did not properly fit the mattress(would constantly become removed during the night)If all of these things are corrected the location would make this a 5-Star vacation no doubt. We travel 2-3 times a year to the area and had great experiences with similar homes/condos and rental companies. This trip was clearly our worst experience.

Regarding the exterior maintenance - unfortunately, we rely solely on the maintenance schedules provided to us by the HOA as the timing and execution of building maintenance is beyond our control. To compensate for any disturbances this may cause, we have lowered our base rental rate and alerted our guests to the issue. We were also happy to provide your party additional compensation as well as the option to leave and receive a refund for the remainder of your stay. Nevertheless, we deeply regret any inconvenience this may have caused and apologize for this issue. We hope you will accept our sincerest apologies and choose to return for an improved vacation experience. We hope to see you again soon and thank you again for your review!

The property manager was very helpful.
The vacation rental was clean.
I was very happy with the location.
I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental.

I am so thankful for the kind & prompt responses from all reps at your property mngt team! The request to add patio furniture was greatly appreciated! Although we used/needed the chairs for the main living area, which is kinda sad. They were the only comfortable places to sit. The bar stool wicker chairs are OK, but again with the theme of the place, a 2-3 star level of chairs. The property itself though needs some help/work.The one main living room chair (I had complained of)was both dingy, worn & un-sittable with the lack of support. The matching stool was so dingy it was embarrassing to have guests over - had to put a blanket across it. The cleaning person you sent over said he was just asked to clean it - so requests for replacement seem to be ignored. The couch itself is not great either. The right arm seems broken - & it just looks old, 2-star material. The white drapes are so stained & dirty/old - need replacing. The walls throughout the property, esp the bathroom are in desperate need of painting. I tried scrubbing them to make them look cleaner/better to no avail. A modern shower re-do would be awesome. We absolutely loved the location - met other new friends in Pilot House (viewed 3 different units) who had top-notch modern, clean crisp units. (I mean, having to bring our own beach towels vs being supplied plush towels, starter soaps/shampoos seems a bit 1-star). I even bought (& left) & a plush shower rug for the unit (& main room rug we used, but took back with us). We would stay in Pilot House again, but not unit 111 - & may be careful about the management company we'd chose (again, we so appreciated your kindness - but you've let this property go unpainted, not remodeled, etc).
